People shouldn't be doing this kinds with bitcoin as their medium of payment. Lots of people are doing their best in a good way using bitcoin and made their lives better than before. So if this kind of illegal acivities would effect bitcoin badly, something has to be done with these bad activities. But the big question is how?

you can use real money for illegal too, not only bitcoin. i think we just need to be right at using our technology.

Well, it is not the problem with Bitcoin but the human involved. There are also cases whereby people buy and sell drugs or involve in any illegal activities using fiat.
But what makes these things worse was the fact tgat if some people do some illegal activities here they will remain anonymous, in any way that they want they will not be put into jail unless they will leave a trace and I think thats one of the biggest anomalies and fraud that Bitcoin is facing right now, in the prevention for the some countries choose to banned Bitcoin. |

Hopefully there will be system improvements (without reducing or eliminating existing systems) that govern this (bitcoin and its relation to illegal activity).

should be the use of bitcoin can be for positive trends and now a lot of the effects caused if bitcoin is used for negative things, of course, would be very harmful and very worrying, so the use of a system that prevents bitcoin for negative things is needed. |

This is true, and as users here of bitcoin, we should be responsible for the things that we are doing using bitcoin because if we are being reckless in using this, we must accept the consequences and we do not even know what will they be. To be sure and safe, it is better to avoid something that will ruin our lives in using bitcoin so that we may continue to receive the benefits of it. |

It is humans fault why bitcoin is used for illegal activity. Bitcoin is open to all types that we can use. There's no doubt that even in the illegal terms it will be include in this kind of activity.
agree with you, it depends on every people wants to do with their bitcoin. I think there will be any illegal activity using bitcoin but I also believe that there are many people is using bitcoin for a good purpose. bitcoin give a chance for us for what we want to do and bitcoin also give an option to us and if we only use bitcoin for a good purpose then bitcoin will help us to reach our goals. I think we need to use bitcoin for good things only and don't ever try to use bitcoin with any illegal activity that could make us go to break any law. |

We can`t control people`s choices and track the way they use their currency, both traditional and virtual. Crime and criminals have always been in our society, they always use modern technologies to prosper and now they use bitcoins and e-currency. It`s a dark side of any society and bitcoin is just a tool for them. But we should not panic and just do our job.

From recent news in India it is heard that bitcoins are used to sell drugs..I know its a currency and it is also used as a normal money... but these can create a bad space in people's mind that bitcoins are used to sell drugs..so they will not use bitcoins... Conclusion is that BTC is also a currency which is having a high value in the market..and bitcoins must not be used in these illegal activity which can reduce its usage and value.
There is no truth in this statement. Bitcoin future is not illegal. Those who are treating or declaring it as illegal will soon realize their mistakes and they will surely make it legal again. There is no stoppage to bitcoin and making it illegal will have no effect on it. |

People who think Bitcoin is bad because it is used for illegal activities are quite dumb. Cash is also used for illegal activities yet no one says fiat is bad because it is used by criminals. It wasnt supposed to be used that way, but it is good for criminals because it is anonymous but that doesn't make Bitcoin bad.

Yes for me bitcoin is not a problem, people already know that not only bitcoin can be used for illegal activity, its that some people use bitcoin to scam others but this will not affect people's thinking about bitcoin, because most of the people who are attracted to bitcoin tend to think about the benefits that bitcoin can bring to them. |

No matter how sad it sounds, bitcoin is still used for illegal activities, especially for the sale of drugs. For drug dealers, bitcoin is a gold mine. Imagine, complete anonymity, deaf the need for meet with customers, Ah and laundering money. How to deal with it? Nobody knows. But you need to fight.
bitcoins should not be used for illegal activities. Since it is not set up, it is always an offense that people are talking about who has no idea what a bitcoin is. Actually we can not blame the bitcoin for this but the people who involve this currency for their bad deeds. But there will always be people who will use it because it is easier to send than fiat money and being anonymous will be a boon for them but then we do not can deny the fact that fiat and other payment options can be used in illegal activities as well so it should not be mutually exclusive to bitcoin or cryptocurrency so to speak. |
