From recent news in India it is heard that bitcoins are used to sell drugs..I know its a currency and it is also used as a normal money... but these can create a bad space in people's mind that bitcoins are used to sell drugs..so they will not use bitcoins... Conclusion is that BTC is also a currency which is having a high value in the market..and bitcoins must not be used in these illegal activity which can reduce its usage and value.
The legality of bitcoin is a touche subject and people have different views in the issue. But I don't think bitcoin is accountable for being the payment for illegal transactions. The government might just only searching for something to blame and bitcoin just happens to be new so they took adavantage ruinning its inage. This is sad how a good innovation is being downed by some people's intentions. Bitcoin is made to benefits people and not to destruction may be it is used for illegal activity but thats not the ultimate goal why it is created just like our traditional currency "fiat" and I believe any forms of currency can be used in illegal actitivity if they like but its up to the government how they can control it. |

Blame it to the bad and greedy people for using bitcoin in any illegal activities. I think bitcoin is created for the good benefit of the people but the bad ones taking advantage of it and use it for their dirty works.

Everyone is not good in our society. There are many people who are connected to illegal activities. It's really painful for all.They do many illegal work.Bitcoin is used for those kind of activity. Because, their demand is paid via Bitcoin in virtually.

Being used to buy drugs and other illegal goods is out bitcoin's regulation. What I think should be the solution for this is that the government should fight the drug dealers and not the bitcoin. They should focus more on how to keep the production of this illegal goods and how they manage to stay in the demand.

Bitcoin in my country is considered gambling, and the government does not accept virtual currencies that are present in the country's economic market. It is likely that Bitcoin will be banned more severely as the government discovers that the country is experiencing a recession. |

The main purpose of bitcoin is to help people. But yeah it can be used by illegal or bad purposes. It can't be avoided but for myself i will use it on clean and on ways that it could help me and my family. It is up to people which ways they want to use it.

It all depends on the purpose and the reason for its use. Like physical money or fiat its holders have the freedom of choice to where he is going to use or spend his bitcoin to. Physical money are also being used for illegal activties like drugs, paying bribes and so on and so forth, the advantage of bitcoin is its anonymity so they are not easily traced for their crimes when committed.

The simplest thing as not willing to pay tax even though government might not have done anything to warrant such collection is illegal and if bitcoin is coming in as a way people can bypass the payment of tax to government, I wonder why that would not be taken as an illegal activity but I don't expect that to stand for long though.

Yes, anyone can use bitcoin for illegal activities like what you have been mentioned and in other purposes such as buying porn videos and etcetera, but for me do not blame bitcoin. Bitcoin is just a currency or a thing that has value but it has nothing to do with these bad activities but the people who are doing it does. |

bitcoin is made to simplify many things there are people who use it in a positive way there is also a negative, very unfortunate there are people who use it negatively it will damage the good name bitcoin.
