Miners, please try using: --queue 0 --scan-time 5 --expiry 10

I have noticed an increase in DOA's which causes connectivity problems with the wallet.

http://csc.xpool.net:8840/ currently has 82.2 Mh/s out of the CSC p2pools 91.3 Mh/s. If there are any other public nodes please post so we can distribute the load.

Also, with such a large hash rate at the pool it is important that you set the worker difficulty for your miners.

To set the difficulty for your specific hash rate multiply by 0.00000116
For example, if your miner is capable of 1440 Kh/s:
1440 * 0.00000116 = 0.0016704

Example Connection String for a miner capable of 1440 Kh/s:

cgminer -o stratum+tcp://csc.xpool.net:8840 -u CJbGVMDmqWWptWTcwRU2bzNg8auMzoUenJ+0.0016704 -p password --scrypt --queue 0 --scan-time 5 --expiry 10

Miners, please make sure you're correctly setting your difficulty. This is super important to curb the amount of DOA and orphans within the pool. It's pretty easy to calculate.

Hmm, i'm going to wait to see what the CAC team say. They are the ones planning to go out and contact casinos, so it looks more promising than CSC to me, however if they were to combine and work on CSC then would could have something very strong.

I put in CNBS8SVWVMmwDq1EbWtm7GRku3okBFESvp+0.0005568 as username in guiminer-scrypt but im seeing a massive increase in stales on my 480 khash 6950's ...

Mining at csc.squiggie.com instead of xpool results in way less stales though.

Edit: currently 40/7 on csc.squiggie.com with CNBS8SVWVMmwDq1EbWtm7GRku3okBFESvp+0.0005568 as username. Well above 10% stale  Sad. But atleast its better then 2/10 on xpool.

I'm the friend Murderouskirk mentioned that has an interest in the front and back end development of CSC. I'd also like to set up a VARDIFF pool, along with a gaming site that accepts CSC. If the developer of CSC could add me on Skype (sirsavary), it would be much appreciated.

Yea, I'm sorry. I did not expect to get 15MH/s on the pool on launch day and I don't think Cartman expected to go above 100MH/s on his today either. The servers are taking a beating. If there are other p2pools for CSC you can try them and see. If this keeps up, I'll have to add more resources to the server and bring it back online. We'll wait and see.

The high orphan rate (I believe) is due to the high hash rate and low diff. It should stabilize as the diff increases.

Miners may want to use --queue 0 --scan-time 1 --expiry 1 to see if that helps further.

I have a large and powerful server that is currently not doing anything. If someone tells me how to configure a P2P node, I will do it ASAP.

I use:
cgminer --scrypt -o localhost:55555 -u xxxx -p xxxx -I 13 -g 2 -w 256 --shaders 2048 --thread-concurrency 8192 --gpu-engine 925 --gpu-memclock 1375 --auto-fan --per-device-stats -s 1 -E 25

And I am getting orphans 6.16% of the time solomining for the last 3 days with 6 x 7970's. Obviously the -s 1 -E 25 is the important part.

Moving to Puerto Rico...
