Hashcows has fake stats. I cant confirm poolpickers stats.
I use stats.hashco.ws to gather my stats for hashcows so if they're incorrect so am PoolPickers. FYI. For 48hrs mining on hashcows with ~1.1MHs has gotten me 0.0047 BTC (unex, exchanged and paidout.). Not exactly matching what they claim....

Although it has been some time ago, I've had consistently terrible results from hashcows. Which to be honest, is exactly what should be expected from that pool. It's hard to compete against fast switching pools mining only high reward blocks of coins with "random" block rewards.
There's a good reason Middlecoin and Clevermining don't post what they mine publicly.

I threw between 1,5 and 4MH/s to HashCows for 24h, maybe even longer.. Then i saw i only made 0,00097! Yes, a zero extra.. Was expecting at least 0.010 per MH/s, based on their stats. Maybe an error on their part, but i decided to split 2MH/s to Clever and 2MH/s to Waffle for now..

I'm completely off middlecoin now, looks like everyone else is as well Wafflepool has been paying very well. Anyone still on MC should be switching.

I'm completely off middlecoin now, looks like everyone else is as well Right, check the stats page. There's only a little over 5000 users actively mining right now. A virtual ghost town. Obviously, most of them are avoiding this thread...

They do stick to the end with failing pools as the software just keeps running.

I'm not sure what a botnet would look like but a good two thirds the the 5000 users are under 2 Mh/s and about 2000 of those are between .6 and 2. Not your typical unpatched XP box in grandmas kitchen.

Ive seen atriz posting in coins threads doing manual trades. Idk if its for the pool or personal but he has always been an honest trader and im sure that applies to hashco.ws

I am looking at getting into scrypt mining, what would you guys pay for this machine I found for sale?
4 cards, 7950, 5850, 2x 5770. Two motherboards, 4 pci-e slots per board (room for expansion). 2 PSU (corsair 750 and antec 450), Asus boards quad core and dual core) 8gb ram.

Thousands of little miners who don't know any better still plugged into it, most big players have moved on.

could only use 1 board, 2psus, couple of PCI Risers, and you only need a decent cpu (scrypt mining doesn't use much cpu) and only 4GB ram. However, i just read you are going to buy it. Aprox. Numbers -2x 5770 @ 175Kh/s each = 350Kh/s | 5850 = 350Kh/s | 7950 = 700Kh/s which comes out to 1400Kh/s What is it for up for? You can reach that with 3 270x and get a higher hash.

The fact that there are 5000 users on MC that aren't leaving anytime soon means saying everyone is gone is a bit of an exaggeration. Anyway, losing hash rate isn't all bad for a alt coin pool, and gaining a bunch of hash isn't all good for the new kids either. It's going to be fun to watch.

meh... 24H with 5.5MH and only 0.006. I'll wait a couple of days to see if the rest shows up, but, in any way, they have the worst reporting of all the pools.

Just to say...
What a missed oportunity... MC had everything to be the best multi-pool...
The lack of capacity of the Operator is staggering... No comunication, site broken, low payouts...
I did like this pool on the earlier days, but now ... I have moved on a few weeks ago, in hope that the OP wake up and get their stuff together...
Well i see now that is not going to happen...
Have a good life with all the BTC we have give you H20...
