Anyone else notice a payment go out for .00000001 BTC? I'm assuming it's coming from here, since I don't use that addy for anything else.
Was wondering when someone was going to mention this... Someone sent all Middlecoin users 2 miniscule transactions earlier today. Check the two send addresses, there's a built in Olympic message...  Did you send them out? What is the Olympic message? Is .00000001 the percentage of athletes happy with their hotel accommodations?  Nope wasn't me. Who knows, it may have been h2o. Or maybe Sean White since he was bored after messing up the half pipe. Here are the transactions. I thought MaxCoin was CPU only?? Not anymore. Cudaminer gives you hundreds of MHash per GPU. |

I've found using the username 1CVTp4Bk2GkbRDdfVCuEuVXphmzyYJq3Cn seems to reduce the number of rejects I recieve (and hopefully improves the payout), you're welcome to try it out and see if it works.  Let me know how it works for you, the more people that try it the more accurate the results...  For the failover use 1EEqY8axyTB7SVuaVoNaieUqg5z77buy2t Look, hardly any rejects  |

I thought MaxCoin was CPU only?? Not anymore. Cudaminer gives you hundreds of MHash per GPU. Yea and the version of CGMiner was giving about 330MH/s on a 280x, Its been hammered hard though now as it was returning about an equivalent to 0.03BTC per MH on scrypt. |

Edit: and yeah, I waited an hour Middlecoin calculates your hashrate from the number of shares you get per unit of time. So no, it's never accurate. Especially with low hashrates it varies wildly, but that doesn't affect your payout in the long run. |

MC for the past 2 days has been about 0.014/MH Wow! That's fantastic! I only earned about 0.015BTC/Mh at Middlecoin over the last two days . . . OH! Wait . . . never mind. Same time period: Clevermining.com = 0.01061 BTC per 1 MH/s (from their website) Wafflepool.com = 0.01161954 BTC per 1 MH/s (from their website) But they are SO MUCH BETTER!!! Look at their fancy graphs and helpful links!!! So website, MUCH WOW!!!! |

I experimented with running one of my machines with 4 instances of the mining application, using 4 different worker names instead of lumping them all in once instance, and the payout appeared slightly higher. Because of variability in payouts in day-to-day mining I couldn't say it was significantly better so I ditched it - It was just more work and maintenance than it was worth.
You know you can use pools in cgminer to do this. Just give cgminer a list of pools and usernames, where every pool is middlecoin.com:3333 (or your closest server) and each username is a different address in your BTC wallet. Then use --load-balance and cgminer will submit shares equally to each of the usernames. |
