another payout.

.0097ish/MH. certainly not great. but theres enough unexchanged on the table to hopefully make up for it in coming days...

Not a surprise since the doge reward halved. Meanwhile, I mine maxcoin which gives 0.035/MH/day (so, my 7970 gives me 0.024/day) if you mine-n-dump it. And their (keccak) miner is more stable than scrypt one now, so I'm really happy about it!

I wonder whether H2O will shift majority processing toward another coin then? Maxcoin seems to be intriguing yet the fact that it requires a modified cgminer, it's nearly impossible for it to be added to the list of coins Middlecoin mines. Correct?

Not bad; almost double to triple what scrypt based coins can produce per day.

Fortunately, MAX is profit switching pool resistant.  Not only is it NOT scrypt (it's SHA-3), but the hurdles to get the customized CGminer working are high.  You have to compile your own miner version and then you have to tweak your command line settings as you won't be able to use the same overlock/memclock/Intensity/etc... settings for SHA-3 coins that you can for scrypt.

Not to mention that if somehow Middlecoin was able to begin mining for MAX it would kill the market immediately thus making it non-profitable.

I love coins like this that can't be taken advantage of by the profit switchers.  If you want to mine it, do you own research and mine it yourself.

Anyone know why doge coin difficulty decreased by quite a bit in the past 24 hours? (1702 > 993) Are we missing out on some other coin people have been mining that's more profitable?

So why are we still mining it? Huh

Having very high reject rates with new rig running 2x r9 290 tri-x runni sgminer and 13.11 beta drivers. Bat file as follows

sgminer -o stratum+tcp://middlecoin.com:3333 -xxxx-p x -I 23 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 32765 --gpu-engine 1020 --gpu-memclock 1500 --gpu-fan 85 --temp-target 88 --temp-overheat 92 --temp-cutoff 98 --gpu-powertune 20

Can't get these cards running with cgminer at all.

Any suggestions?

"-I" is too high. Start with 18/19/20. Check the hahsrate/rejects/WU and settle for the best values (depends also on what server you're hashing).

GPU and memclock might be too high as well. safer settings are 947/1250 or 975/1350 or 987/1425. Let it run a while (day or two), see if anything goes sick/dead/off. Have a good PSU?

I made some changes to the graphs code. Most of it is invisible and just makes them render faster on my server. They're quite a bit faster, which means I can run them a bit more often. Starting tomorrow though, when I can watch them. I'm going to bed now.

I did change the moving average of hash rate to be over up to six hours instead of three. I think it soothes out the variance better. But I made it so it responds to a drop to zero and start from zero hash rate faster.

If you see any problems with your graphs pm me please.

thanks

Nice.

your intensity is ridiculously high, it should never exceed 20, thats probably why your have so much rejects.

On average, if running at 11-12 mh/s, how much btc should one expect? I realize last week was good to users but i am curious if someone can tell me a longer average view? If i had to guess i would make 1 btc in approx 10 days. Sound about right?

2013 is the year of first creation. However, since it changes every day, the current year is maybe more correct. Thanks.
