Spots has been removed from Coinmarketcap.com entirely.

So now it's gone from Cryptsy and CMC.

Well it was removed from crysty first the reasions where made clear.
In regards to coinmarketcap.com its right there....
http://coinmarketcap.com ?? #42 atm?
Matter of fact its gone from 45 to 40 since its been added, what makes you think its not there anymore?

My mistake. It's up on Cryptsy AND Coinmarketcap!!

Time to rock and roll. Looking for a 3-5 million market cap. So few coins with Spots. Nice and rare Smiley

I estimate the same market cap to be honest. Great minds think alike Wink

i can't see it on coinmarketcap?

It's there and flying. It started at bottom a few hours ago. It's moving up several places. Now it's moved up 10 places already to #34.
Got to have a fast eye. Heading to 3-5 million which would be #18-14... later in the night. First 24-48 hrs on Coinmarketcap is always rockin'.

34    Spots

Why should it go up 5-10 fold more? Is there anything unique?  Actual question, as I don't know.

How long would it take to find a block if solo mining with 900 khash?
There is no working pool for spots.

Edit: whats going on with the difficulty, its jumping between 2 and 15 all the time.  Is someone having fun turning on/off a huge unknown asic miner?

Diff adjusts every block, like it has for the last 5 months. Unless someone has invented a Scrpyt ASIC, I doubt that's the case  Wink

Use addnode=p2pool.org in your spots.conf

Seriously, I need some help. I mined this coin solo for 16 hours. I have 8000+kh/s. Wallet will not sync, and coins gone. Please help.

Use addnode=p2pool.org in your spots.conf

The only way your coins could have possibly disappeared from your wallet is if you were mining before being synced, thus finding blocks already found. Other than that, no coins can possibly disappear unless you deleted wallet.dat. There are no forks or anything, so those are the only two ways coins could disappear

I have synced up 3 rigs just today on Spots. I deleted my whole %appdata%/Spots folder to make sure it was a fresh try, used p2pool.org as an addnode, and synced very quickly. On all 3 machines...

If you guys are still somehow getting the Litecoin message...you can block ports, ban the bad node, or just ignore the message. It's purely cosmetic, but I don't get it on any of my rigs so I can't verify that it is still coming up with the newest version of the QT. As long as it says "Downloaded x of y blocks" and x is the current Spots block, you are synced. Regardless of any messages you see

I would like to help you guys, and I'm doing my best, but all the answers for your issues have already been given. If you are still having any problems, please post in as much detail as you can what you are trying to do and what problem you are coming across. Syncing should not be a problem at all if you add p2pool.org, as someone else suggested earlier in the thread. I had no problems syncing before adding it, but that definitely sped it up quite a bit...but try starting from scratch if you are having problems:

Code:
1) Make a .bat in your Spots folder that says "spots-qt.exe -server" without the quotes
2) Make a .conf file in %appdata%/Spots/spots.conf saying this to load your QT as a server:
(You can use any user/pass/port you want as long as they match your mining .bat)

rpcuser=x
rpcpassword=x
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=8108
server=1
gen=0

addnode=96.2.111.139
addnode=67.167.228.42
addnode=69.85.86.195
addnode=68.103.6.158
addnode=71.187.248.95
addnode=70.69.238.84
addnode=108.185.218.246
addnode=70.98.114.229
addnode=p2pool.org

Let it sync (it may take a while)

3) Make a .bat for your miner (or use config files) to point it to 127.0.0.1:8018 (or the user/port/pass you used in your config)

4) Make money!

Hope this helps
