I own QuarkTalk.com.

Can we consolidate the forums there utilizing a modern forum software?

I recommend we use http://vanillaforums.com/.

Quark deserves modern and stable software.

$ parity would have Quark ranked number 3 crypto currency with about half the market cap of litecoin.
I think that is a stretch in the short term, but then on Friday it was 24 QRK per cent, and now it is about 1,5cents per QRK, at that level of increase we'll have $ parity next week! (I know it won't happen.)

Best thing I've done for QRK, was :

Being the first who said that QRK is gonna be on BTC38. ( Which wasn't the truth )

See what happened? Smiley

I just did something bad. I sold my QRKs 3 days ago. 165k. Just got my money out.

Now QRK is going high and I'm left without any Cheesy

Not exactly, since QRK is already on another Chinese website bter.com. People there are buying like crazy...

is there a way to mine this that isn't a colossal pain compared to everything else?  pool links to miners are dead (from OP or elsewhere if there's even instructions), running anything with a command in windows this day and age is ridiculous (from OP), and without having to sign up an account in 3 different places before you can even start (also from OP)?   Just trying to get on a pool ffs.

Maybe good update links if that not working...

My feeling is that I would not move the forum unless we can intergrate it right into the website .

So wrap the new address , and the forum and a new look web site all together .

I dont think there is a point in shifting things around , unless we consolidate and improve .

In this way from a managment perspective , everything becomes a million times easier .

Love the look of vannila , we need it on the site but .

Vanilla is actually built to be customized and skinned with an existing site "look".

I agree the new QRK site needs a massive face lift!

I hope the winner of the LOGO contest can also get started on a new site design  Wink.

QUARK DEVELOPERS NOTE.

As you can see quark is gaining on popularity. In order to keep the investors interested and hold on to this coin they should see an ambitious roadmap showing quark as a sustainable cryptocurrency which is not only good as investment but as a true cryptocurrency (i.e. money... cash) which the casual user can use (thus the popularity).

You should plan about --

1) Light weight wallet.
2) Android & iPhone wallets.

If investors do not see these things, they'll see this as a buy and sell commodity instead of a true cryptocurrency or a Bitcoin alternative.

ANY SECURITY VULNERABILITIES can crash the coin. Be extra careful.

I just want to say a GIGANTIC thank you to Max, DigitalIndustry and the entire QRK team. I've always believed in QRK and bought a whole bunch when the price was a mere fraction of a penny. I was traveling earlier this week, and when I logged in last night for the first time in days and saw the QRK price, well, I haven't slept since.

Quark is a top-tier coin with a top-tier community and I think this train has only just begun to leave the station.....

Keep up the great work guys!!

I also think a nice graphic displaying the benefits of QRK compared to Bitcoin, features, speed, all other good stuff. Quark needs to market itself a bit more because a lot of stupid people will be pumping and dumping. Ill gladly help, send me a pm.
