I was looking at Anoncoin recently and I had an idea which only requires changes to the wallet software.

How about establishing encrypted connections between all connected Quark nodes so it cannot be realized that there's cryptocurrency transaction or traffic going on?

That way even China won't be able to recognize Quark traffic.

Older Quark clients which do not support this will establish regular unencrypted connections; thus backwards compatible.

I'm using a VPS.  My GPU struggles with Civilisation 2, so probably isn't much use for mining...  Is the GPU miner for Quark real?  I hope we don't ever get ASICs for Quark.

no the gpu miner actually works it is just for solo mining only, i have personally used it on a 6850 and it did 1.5mhs and for quark thats pretty good, but the difficulty is so high its no worth it ot mine
