I guess in crypto world there is no too big to fail company. Mtgox knows that when they let people withdraw btc.. they will be left with 0 BTC. And nobody will ever trust them again.
Most alt coins are affected by the down market of BTC because in order to buy altcoin, you need to go to dollar > BTC > altcoin.
Is there anyway for us to make USD > Quark?

Initial mining near complete... will be interesting to see where the network hashrate heads once the block reward is permanently 1QRK. Network hashrate has already dropped more than 50% from ATHs.

i found out a very amazing thing about quark coin that makes it different from other coins, security-wise  , * when you make a backup file in any coin and transfer it to usb flushdrive and after that you change the password on your wallet in any coin what it does its just updates it , but not in quark coin what it does is if you make a backup file on flush and then change the password on your quark wallet pops a massage on quark wallet saying that you change the pass and the backup file is no longer active and you cant use your backup file and have to make a new one , security-wise its amazing and why that ?imagine you lost your quark backup wallet/file you just go to your wallet and change the password and your backup file is irrelevant and no one can use it or try to krack it , and this is the only coin to mine understanding that does that ( correct me if i wrong ) , security security security its important in the digital world , go quark ;  |

people across the net seem to think QRK was premined really badly i have seen it ALL over the web for ages..
so its weird after all this time its not even brought up in post 1

i have so much altcoins to be following. So what are the speculation for the future of the quark so far? Does the donation of 100k Quark will be put into a good project? What kind of project does the community expecting soon?
I am only holding 24k of Quark so i do not really have much. But will be interested to know the community of this coin.
Hello Blueangel, The Quark Foundation has many projects up and coming, needing more Members to help support and organize with them all! Now that the Mobile wallet is in Beta testing and soon to be released on Google Play, and our first major non profit to accept Qrk (Fr33aid) has been announced, hopefully the next focus will be on getting businesses to adopt/accept QRK (building point of sale infrastructure etc) and more non-profits through the Quark 1000 program... As well as educating the mainstream about crypto currencies in general, and how Quark is different/faster/more secure...Stay tuned (or better yet, get involved!). you can sign me up for some of the foundation items. I'm an engineer by trade, know SW and HW development, and the nuances of business mgmt. |

You can upload the image to http://zxing.org/w/decode.jspx then Submit Query and compare the Parsed Result with your Quark address. |
