If bitcoin goes to zero

If it goes to zero, then there is hardly anything that we can do, other than whining about our losses. Those who invested in BTC at higher prices will be the most upset ones. For my part, my total cost of purchase was $1,000 (in 2014) and I have sold Bitcoins worth many times that amount during the past few years (especially in 2015/16).

If bitcoin goes to zero then the miners will still want transaction fees and many of the slot machine players
that frequent this forum won't blame them.

Sorry the bread today and jam tomorrow (Well six months) Lightning Network fix does not quite do it for me
and the miner monopoly is not only holding us hostage but they are also holding the team developers hostage but
they have themselves to blame for that don't they.  

Remember the boycott of trades that's been planned to send them a message because it is their greed
that will send it to zero and not ours.

Bitcoin coming to zero means it is dead and a replacement will be sort for. The question then is whether this is possible or whether an altcoin can get into the big shoes of  bitcoin, maybe etheruem or bitcoin.

I think it won't come to zero rather a retracement will continue to happen.

Which shows why bitcoin will never fall to zero, really. There will always be someone who'd want bitcoins even if it's just for some "collectors value". There is spectacular history behind bitcoin now, that alone incurs some small price.

bitcoin to zero is not possible. the current price is very unstable, sometimes sometimes up. which may occur, bitcoin will be destroyed by the manufacturer.

Bitcoin will never go to zero, stop dreaming about that guys, the price is never going to be destroyed or just like you are saying, stop dreaming. And if it happens, i will probably buy millions of coins at that price.

Well, it depends on the reason that brought bitcoin down, if it's another cryptocurrency then no they won't be going down, but if it's something that makes people lose faith in all cryptocurrencies then the whole cryptocurrency market would crash.

Yes you're right because people makes the bitcoin and any other cryptocurrwncies run. So people are the great factor why bitcoin will getting high and it will continually increase. So if bitcoin would never been use by people then cryptocurrencies would be worthless.

I agree as the bitcoin was like a mother of all cryptocurrency and it is the only digital currency that has many usage and significance. Unlike other cryptocurrency, bitcoin can be converted into fiat to be used physically. Aside from that when bitcoin price will be zero, it simply meams that it will become nonsense because it has no value at all.

Current Bitcoin price has nearly 16,000 dollars, predicts the next few days its rate will increase strongly again, in excess of $ 19000 as previously it had been touched. So you leave it and holding Bitcoin investor to make a profit in 2018.

What do you mean by saying if bitcoin goes to zero? There are so many altcoins in this situation but bitcoin is the only crypto which is successfully running since beginning till now and peoples are taking their opinion to the favor of it.
Though its price is changing between a very few time but it is still profitable and people get benefit from it. No one can say about future properly but who knows about bitcoin will talk with the favor of it. There is almost no chance to happen it because people and its authority are well connected and it is not a pumping site or system

because Bitcoin is the core of the world of crypto currency.so if the core coes down eventually rest of all the coin will go down too  but it is impossible.If it will happen then i will buy as much coin as i can

I have also observed during trading that every crypto depends on bitcoin. When bitcoin dips or rises by a slight amount, you will see that trends of every currency will match the dip and rise of bitcoin. All cryptos goes the same way, So 'YES' i would say if bitcoin goes to zero, every crypto currency will go to zero.

Under no scenario is everyone in the whole world going to suddenly stop using bitcoins (this is the only way price can fall to zero). Its very easy to simply open up a new bitcoin wallet and transactions are very easy. Even if there was a very large government crackdown, the price could fall to about $100 but never below that. Also, some actual governments are investing in Bitcoins so its hard to imagine even that occurring.

Also, given the convenience and advantages of using bitcoins, it is highly unlikely everyone will suddenly lose interest in it. If mining becomes unprofitable, there are still a lot of people currently holding a lot of bitcoins.

It seem that way because there is a lot of people that are relying on Bitcoin to have a higher price so their coin gets promoted more.

What is your suggestion here,there is nothing weired to see these crypto currencies being paired with bitcoin as the introduction of bitcoin started this craze and now there are a thousand coins and for your information,bitcoin is not the only currency being paired with alt coins,any major currency listed in a big exchange can do that,the chances of bitcoin prices goes to zero is really low as we have to see a network crash or something like that to see that happening.

It will never go to zero, At minimum, you need $1000 to mine 1 BTC, so that's the least value I bilieve it could ever happen

True that, the value can never go to absolute zero, there is a lower level threshold , beyond which the value won't decrease, so bitcoin going to a zero is an overstatement

Well the chances that happens are very low, however if bitcoin value goes to zero I suppose most altcoins are going to go to zero however there is a chance that another coin takes the lead in my opinion the most likely candidates will be ETH, BCH or LTC.
