To invest all means in one project is very risky! It is better to divide your capital into several parts and invest in several projects!

Hi,
the altocoin market is so variuous and there are dozen of interesting projects that can be supported.

But  i'm a little investor (500$) and i'm seriously thinking to put all my money in only 1 project I think is very good which curretly is in the top 40 of altcoins. I don't want to say the name because my topic wants to be very general: what do you think is the risk  by doing so? Should I invest in 2 or 3 coins instead?

Thanks

I find it risky because some altcoins fail although it has passed a lot of tests and has gone through a lot. It would be better if we'll sub divide our money in different altcoins. It would surely be profitable in time of holding.

It is impossible to predict, there are risks everywhere. But still it is better to invest not in 1 cryptocurrency, but in several, because it is very difficult to predict the future leader.

So, If you just have a small assets, i think you can investing in one Project. but you must analyze before about the projects, future plan and prospects in the cryptomarket.

It is not risky but stupid decision IMO, for now people need to be wise, we are still not sure which of these Altcoins would go mainstream and putting all your eggs in one basket won't end well IMO. Diversify your portfolio base on your research and conviction that the project has a long way to go and would solve a real life problem

All your funds in one alt is not advisable. Regardless the potential you see in it, this space is too risky and unpredictable to go all in on one project.
It could of course work out good, of its a good project.

Are you willing to lose your money if one altcoin becomes your investment falls. Well, if you don't want to lose then don't ever put your money in one basket.

This is very risky. I think that you have already heard that you need to invest in several different coins immediately because this reduces the risks of loss.

It is not right to put all your eggs in one basket, you know... All $500 isn't so much to risk, but you'll have to choose wisely what coin to invest in.

The phrase"too risky" is relative you know... What might appear risky to you might be a normal venture for me. Follow your heart mate. No risks, no rewards!

Your so brave putting all your money in one altcoin is too risky, I'm giving you a negative suggestion but how about if the that coins you can choose become uneseful and deleted to all exchange.

That's only. Y future thinking but if want to secure your money spread your money in a different altcoins with strong stability in the coinmarketcap.

Risky, definitely. It is better to distribute funds into several currencies, because investing all in one, it is difficult to predict what it will be in a day.

Ofcourse its so risky. You can experience a great disaster because your whole investment is in one place. Your investment can quickly gain value, but you can also experience a rapid decline Smiley

Put in what you can lose and it won’t break you. Or watch everyone get rich and save your money for the booze you will need. These opportunities come around once in 10-20 years.

certainly very risky, because by investing in one altcoin, if you lose a coin, it will run out of our coins, but if you invest in 2 or 3 coins, if you lose or the price falls again, there must be other coins that we can run. so if I think it's better for crypto world investment then you don't just invest in 1 coin

In my opinion, it is better to make your own research and trust your guts.

The most of the privacy coins are undervalued right now.

The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster.

I recently found a hidden GEM called Ethereum Meta, it is related to anonymity and untraceable transaction. They have a very interesting project to build the Anonymous E-Market Place.

They are already trading on exchanges, you can check their website: https://ethermeta.com/
Or even better go through their Bitcointalk thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2659058.0

It would only be very risky if that is a new released altcoin in the market. But if it's like 3-5 years altcoin that is always on top 100 then I guarantee you that there is very less amount of risk involved. But the good advice is always to try diversifying it on at least 3 altcoins.
