How are you handling your portfolio? How much are risking in % of your portfolio in short term gain vs. Long term gain?

I would like to reflect on the current crypto market of today in response to your question. Actually, during normal market days (I am using the term normal in referring to the market that shows green and red alternatively and in shorter spans), I set a certain level of percentage to cut loss or take profit. But during the very red and continuously down market, I do not anymore set any percentage. I just allow the market to fall down as freely as possible and then recover at the right time. There is no other coin that you can consider most stable in times like these and so the better choice would be to hold and let your portfolio remain intact.

Long term is the one that you will hold on years or so but you can get profit by doing nothingg and just checking for it but in the short term you need to check it everytime and it can also called daily trading for short term so you can gain a lot of profits

Of course, trading is much more profitable than long-term investments, but it is also much more risky
I use long-term investment with main coins and try to trade with altcoins  Grin

I divided my portfolio in into 50-50  another  half to long-term another half to short term  because if the situation is so varied short term investment is more profitable while  the movement is stable long term  investment is profitable and safe.

Long-term investment is less risky but less profitable, but if you have a core business then it is best to invest long-term Grin

Long time means holding coins, in my opinion it`s very important to be patient and so this is a good way to do so. However, no one knows how coins will develop the next morths, I would spread therefore some money in altcoins (shorter term) and some money in btc
I think for a longer period of time because you can make a profit, and with that,
you better choose the long term because, for short-term investments, you can end up with big losses in the future.

Hi. For me, I invest in the well-being of my portfolio as it follows:

Short-term - CMT, NEO and Litecoin - all of them have a high potential in the short-run - low risk, high ROI
Long-term - definitely BTC and ETH - they are involved with high risk, but the ROI is immensely high after time, as seen by the latest news.

Long-term and short-term course has its own advantages.
For long term investment you do not need much capital to get the results later.
For short-term investments you have to have a lot of capital to get a big profit, if your short-term capital investment is the same is nonsense.

Nowadays long-term investments is the only acceptable option because of an unstable market situation.

How are you handling your portfolio? How much are risking in % of your portfolio in short term gain vs. Long term gain?

no matter you have a plan in the short and long term. most importantly, you understand and understand exactly with every risk you can face at any time. well, an example with what's happening right now. this is what makes many new investors feel the extraordinary panic and then create a market decline for selling their assets before the initial plan is successful.

Strictly long term goals and gains because I have a job that feeds me already and my main and objective on cryptocurrency is to rake in millions this year in which only strategy to realize that is to keep my coins for long term and get what I  want

My portfolio is mostly for long term. When i started i did short term but that did not really work out well for me. So i decided to do it long term because it will increase more than 3x than you are expecting. And for short term, the fees will eat up your gains because the increase is just minimal in just few hours or days and most of the time it stays for long in the dump.

Basically it is a question of risk management, long term seem to be lower in risk while short-term high. I prefer to invest in long term around 30% of my portfolio and ready to risk 5% of it and 70% in short term, while willing to risk 10%.

I was always for a long term cause I'm not a specialist in trading. I think trading is better for people who really understand this otherwise ordinary people risk losing a lot

I always prefer hold. Take for example the Ethereum, I give the installation hold it for 3 months. After 3 months, take the air, go to the exchange and trade. I think it's the perfect way. Saves a lot of nerves.

At the moment, the market has fallen in price, I would have taken on a long-term perspective.

I choose the investment coin both, I choose coins like BCH, CS, Monero as long-term investment. and make short-term investments through new coins in ICO and sell them when earning 40-50% profit.
gain profit on short-term investments for everyday life, and wait for bombs for my long-term investments.

The top 10 coin I will spend some money to buy them and keep them long term. Coins under $ 1 will be used for short-term trading, coins under $ 1 will make me earn more if it is pumb.

Long-term-bitcoin and Ethereum. Both are excellent assets. But with the short - term is also nice to make a profit. But there is risk, pay little.
