Yes, but the crypt is a very young market and the volatility is too big. On the other hand, when the price grew, no one complained about it.

Short term investments or day trading rewuires more luck than long term. If you research enough about the projects that you invest to, then long term investments will surely pay off, but short term investments wpuld require luck since you would not know if the coins you hodl will actually increase their prices to be sufficiently profitable for a short period of time.

Those who managed to enter in time and fix their profits for a long time do not lose money, because they earned their own. Now these people are just holding the coins for the future and waiting for the next splash.
I am confident that long term is more good over than short term, because holding for long term can help us to earn more money and it less risk doing long term and i think bitcoin is very perpect coin on holding for long term, it can surely give us big profit.

This  is dependent on the investor, whether their plans are long term or short. I however prefer a long term investment coz it enables you asses the potential of the coin overtime and there is a chance of making good profits as most good coins tend to add value overtime

How are you handling your portfolio? How much are risking in % of your portfolio in short term gain vs. Long term gain?

I am holding all my token/coin for long term. I dont have skill how to read market movement and how to make analysis on market, so I am better investing my money for long term on good coin and acctually i dont know how much % risk on my portfolio because I am just investing base on my research

I just make investment for long term in most popular coins , that is BTC and ETH. And for short term i chooce depend on the technical analysis. I believe BTC and ETH is the strongest crypto that will be continue going up in long term, these coins has the biggest community. I was put my money in to BTC and ETH 60% and others 40% for short investment.

In my case, I always based upon the capability of the coin to fluctuate. There are some coins in my portfolio that is volatile and I wanted it to buy and sell everytime I see that there is a rapid change in the price. But most of the coins in my portfolio like ETH is for long term investment.

For me Both strategies have benefits and drawbacks. If  you will go for long term trading then you will surely needed to have lots of patience because sometimes we need to wait for a coin to jump its price.

How can I tell you what to do?)
Each investor has his own specifics of work and everyone chooses the strategy that suits him.
1 Investments for a term is a risk not to get a full profit to assemble parts of it. And of course you can not badly earn - it all depends on the asset and you need to constantly monitor the market
2 Long-term investment - just bought and forgotten (opened a year later by a diluter or not) without unnecessary movements.
Everyone has his own choice.

so far I prefer long term, because more definitely profitable for me
I always see the development of a coin, then analyze what event will happen
in comparison with short term, HODL is more fun than cutloss

I would implemented base on the situation of the market, which one is more fit to the market. if it suit to short term then I would do a short term but if it need to hold for long term then I would hold them.

As I would see it long haul venture is superior to anything here and now. I am holding long haul and here and now both in 80:20 proportion. Short terms are those which are new and exceptionally unpredictable, I get them at the tie of plunge and offer as soon they go on an ascent. Long terms are with great unfaltering development and can possibly become further.

I used to go majorly longterm on seated good altcoins before but I have to modify my strategy a bit now. It's good to sell them when you see a very good pump and then wait for the dump to buy them back and you are still left with some btc profit.

Long term holding i think is more profitable than short term investment because in long term we can wait for the right price before selling while in short term we dont know what will happen especially now that the price of bitcoin is unpredictable.

I will take 15% as the break point for cut loss, I can't take much further than that. While making decision to short term and long term will related to the coins it self, if its worth for long term then I will hold them.

I'm long term investor, but there is small amount for short term, buying some coin and when I se %5-10 profit, I'm selling. But long term is good for me, I like this and there is les stress than short term.

the long-term risk is much greater than the short-term. because we do not know the development of the coin in the future how. so this could be a considerable risk. so to anticipate being able to see and monitor the development of coins.
