It depends on the amount you have for the investment. If you have low capital swing trade will be good for you. But if you have enough capital you can decide to hold for long term

I think long-term and short-term equally have the advantage, if I see the market conditions alone if doing trade. if the market is more crowded I prefer to do short-term trading, because I get more profit. although fortunately a bit but often. but if the lg market is stable I prefer to hold for a long time, waiting for the high price.

How are you handling your portfolio? How much are risking in % of your portfolio in short term gain vs. Long term gain?
The investment technique that you are going to do dependa on the profitability of a particular cryptocurrencies. You should find first if your coin is good for long term or short term investment.

for the development of a coin in the future we do not know. especially with this market situation. so I think the bigger risk is long term. because we do not understand for the future a coin. so the possibility of risk could be greater about 15% -20%

I'm mostly a fan of hodl strategy, and don't day trade or short trade. I don't know a lot of day traders or swing traders who did well in cryptocurrency market (short term trading requires a lot of technical knowledge, and most importantly it needs you to be strong in controlling your feelings, which many people are not). Hodl usually works better. Sure, it needs a lot of patience too, but in the end it works better.

At the moment, I can consider a few interesting coins to purchase: PCL, ABX (arbidex), ETH, LTC, Wawes, XPR.

As practice shows, the longer you hold the coins, the safer it is for you! If you do not have the skills to trade and know how the market is structured, it is better not to use day trading!

Well t really depends on the value of the coins. If the vaue is too low might better to hold it long term but if the value is high then you want to earn instantly much better to sell it in short term to avoid the drop down of the value.

I see the market in two different classes. The first class is bitcoin, ethereum and other serious coins. The second class is other tokens and ico assets. For the tokens, I don't go for long term. I go for mid term. For coins, I always go for long term since their growth is stable.

I prefer long term if you are very busy working on your full time real job. But if you are a full time investor or a trader then you can go short term; since being full-time in crypto world was the best in monitoring all your investments to make good profit.

I think this topic is good to be discussed over time to in order to give hints to the new to trading and or investor. In my own idea and experience, id vote for long term investing, it is because for anyone who are newbies into this thing, i suggested for long term investments to avoid the loss, and give time to earn profits. What i mean is, if you are new, just invest to the coin where it has a future and you dont have any experience into trading. So for the old ones, maybe trading or short term is the best, since they already have the knowledge on how to manage their portfolio.
Have a great day

In my experience, long-term investments more profitable than trading, it's better to sit and wait for the price you need. I tried to trade, but I lost a lot
I guess its better to be in long term investment, its just that you'll really see the profit or the interest you are earning from the money you have invested.

If you're talking about the trading, as for me I do short term trading only, less profit but its a sure win beacuse you don't need to gamble for big capital, only small will do and its also profitable.

I think long-term investment is a wiser strategy than ever. Long-term investment will bring us much profit instead of short-term investment. Short-term investment takes us a lot of time, while long-term investment is less time consuming. You just need to find out and consult some good experts, you can invest in it and never worry about that investment. Therefore, I would like to evaluate long-term investment strategy over short-term investment.

Both terms are good, but it is depend on people what they want terms. I believe people decide whether to have a short term or long term investment based on their capacity like if the person has enough funds for long term purposes better is the long terms Definitely choosing long term over short term is more good to do, because if we will choose long term it will be more nice for us because i am sure that we can make more money with that, and just like holding our bitcoin for long term that is very great because i am sure that the value of bitcoin is we will rise very high and we can make many profit by long term.
