I prefer long-term investment. If you are investing in any encrypted coins, you have to wait for a long time, so you can get a lot of profit from the password in the future. But short-term investment is not a good choice for encryption.

I'm not so much risking % of my portfolio for now, and I'm not trading much this past few days. But I always prefer long-term because a much higher income can be earn by that way. But if I trade again (short term), I will only risk 25% of my portfolio.

For me it is favorable to hold coins long term if the person is not really having so much time for day trading or short term trading. Holding long term is hassle-free and doesn't need so much of your attention. All you need to do is to check whether you are gaining much since the time you have deposited for holding it. Now because I don't have so much time I guess I will have to prefer a long term investment.

70% of my portfolio I invest for a long time and do not worry about it, 30% is a short-term investment, but unfortunately not always short-term investments are successful, sometimes they remain for a long time

if I prefer short term. because we can immediately enjoy the results in the real world. if long term is also good for people who have enough money for their daily needs. until the target price they want is achieved .

I prefer long term when handling my portfolio and for me it has lesser risks compared to doing short term. Specially since I still work in a full time job and is having a hard time giving extra time for part time jobs which is why it is very compatible for me to just hold and wait for the time being and I find it much more profitable and less of a hassle.

That is not always the case while investing in altcoins. The alts undergo pump-and-dump cycles and many of them become obsolete after 1-2 years. Even I had invested in alts such as Quark and Freicoin, and they are absolutely worthless now.

I still have a small capital to invest for a long time and sit waiting for the growth of coins. I prefer short-term trading, it does not bring a large profit for 1 time, but it allows to increase the capital up to 30-40% per month.

I choose long-term trading because I have very little money. I chose two little-known cryptocurrencies ,in which I invested my money and hope that my Bank will increase several dozen times. with everyday trade, it would not have happened.

How are you handling your portfolio? How much are risking in % of your portfolio in short term gain vs. Long term gain?

for now, I prefer long term because now that I see altcoin is recovering and hopefully altcoin returns to a stable price and can sell resistant altcoins, therefore I prefer long term because it can get the maximum profit and for altcoin can survive in the future

The long term is for Bitcoin and Ethereum, but it must have a level of patience that more and can be done as a side of our work at the office.

short runs are like CIVIC, PTOY, Eboost, Cardano, Ripple, and should be monitored every day because the type of coin is very fast for his up and down.

Now I focus on long-term investments in the crypto market. Although I believe that a reasonable solution will be and various short-term investments. Now the stock market is active, so you can earn money on the movements of quotes.

Long-term investment is better for me because it does not require full involvement in the process and is not as nervous as trading  Cheesy

It depends upon the coin I am holding..coins like bitcoin ethereum are the coins good for the long term purpose..but as the coins like ripple I would like to sell as soon as I get profit in it..so it depends upon that particular coin

I think both have advantages and disadvantages of each, but I recommend choosing both. I usually divide investment capital, 50% long term and 50% short term. because the trading cryptocurency graph is very fluctuating so to grab the safe it in my opinion.
I agree with you. In this case, you can invest for a long time, and the asset will grow right after you have invested. You can quickly make a profit, although invested for a long time.
p.s. I prefer a long-term investment. I like to look for projects that will survive in the future.

Today I use mainly long-term investments. Because the market confirms long-term growth opportunities, including several current strategies that investors should necessarily examine before transferring their money.

I looked up on my altcoins for long term holdings, they say that the more you hold an altcoin, the more it becomes valuable, if you sell it immediately, you will missed the chance to sell it on high value.
