I have divided my portfolio into a long and short term part. Long term for coins I have a firm believe in and which I think will give me some passive income. The rest is just short term trading.

How are you handling your portfolio? How much are risking in % of your portfolio in short term gain vs. Long term gain?
For my long-term I have ethereum and bitcoin and some other altcoins. But some altcoin i use for short term are like ripple, avg and so on. All of that is profitable even it's a long term or short term of investment.

I began with short-term investments. But over time I have passed to long-term investments. On it there were several reasons: Big saving of time, smaller risks. To get profit on krstkosrochny investments it is necessary to understand perfectly cryptocurrency and to find for the analysis of the market huge time.

if I do a short or long trade depending on the current price, if it does not happen for the short term of course all the assets I hold I will make long term, but true you say because it is more convenient doing long-term investment so we just monitor the development current prices without fear of falling prices.

Both are profitable if you invest carefully and have knowledge to invest at right place and right time.Long term need no lot of time just good selection of coin which grow in high and short term need alot time to check prices and focus on price to find best moment to take decision of buy and sell, simply buy in low and sell in high.

Both of them are good. If you invest your money you need to hold it for a short time. But if you have coins for joining a bounties you hold it for long time and wait for the perfect time to sell it.

I usually don't invest in short-term gains in altcoins, and I have no risks because the token I will receive in bounty campaigns will be used for the investments I will try. Long term investments like in bitcoin, is preferable for me because we all know that bitcoin is more powerful and popular, and many people have already tried investing to it.

These are two things that are quite contradictory, and I'm not sure both can be done at the same time. I mean if you trade, then you are a trader, and if you are a long-term investor, then you should avoid trading as much as possible.

Both had advantages and disadvantages. For my opinion, it is better to choose long term because it will gain more than the short term. Many risk takers choosing long term period because they know that it can benefit them bigger. You are having investment not to sell it immediately instead of holding it and earn from it.
Ok.That is one investment strategy that can be taken. But other decisions can taken based on your fund to be invested. When you have limited fund, it is better to choose short term trade / investment. You can save your profit and later you can invest more. For those investors who like taking risk, they usually decide to invest in long term periode for bigger profit but it is more risky.

Yes both are good ways of ripping some profits . Difference between long term is you coin is no longer to grow. For me i must prefer long term because i want to grow more my coin.  I think it depends on our mental when we want to get a lot of profit to be ready for long term and need a lot of capital if any profit if not loss, and short term very light but little profit.  Undecided Undecided Undecided Undecided

I hold more coins than trading. Throughout my experience, if you decide to be a long-term investor, it is important to keep the original goal even when the market looks very easy to trade. Or you can do it in small portions.

There may be no special sharing, but several times trading when there is a chance. So far it has not found a fatal flaw, but it may be not as easy as the trader seen on the graph.

I think if you research and believe the coin will do well, a long term approach is much much much more profitable.

long term or short term I think the same if the carved from the gain in getting long term exception when a skyrocketing price can benefit the greater one.and short-term also so although its gentle rise of land advantage is little but say in appeal it with the long term results are not much different for long term coin eth and btc

I want to say If you would ask me to choose one I would go for a small crypto that is trusted for long-term, or crypto like ETH. But in my opinion, Both have advantages and disadvantages. In my opinion, it is better to choose long term because it will get more than short term. Many risk takers choose long term because they know that it can benefit them bigger.

well, if you have a plan for the future then you go to the long term , but if you want oy an profit to make a capital for your creating an small business then it is good in short term. but these two are depend on the ICO and market price update. so you will have to update in this every week or everyday if you want

Long-term trading combined with short-term trading. I think Bitcoin and Ethereum are very suitable for long-term holding, while ADA, XRP, NEO and other coins are suitable for short-term investment. The combination of both can better avoid investment risks and gain profits.
