Long term vs. Short term

How are you handling your portfolio? How much are risking in % of your portfolio in short term gain vs. Long term gain?

In my opinion, both have advantages and disadvantages. But it is better to choose long-term investment because it can get more value if you sell above and buy back a little lower. Many are taking the risk of choosing long term because they know that it can benefit them bigger. You have an investment not to sell it directly rather than holding it and getting it.

Now that the price of cryptocurrency is falling again, it is better to choose a strategy for long term hold. I believe that over time, the cryptocurrency will be recognized officially and everyone will have it.

Long term and short term both has advantages and disadvantages. In long term investors get maximum profits in single stoke but some times loss is also the part of this process. In short term participant never get any loss, person has get their own money which they earned easily. Long term needs patience.

For me, the long-term period is a year! For a longer period it is difficult for me personally to predict, everything is changing too quickly.

For me, i only have coins that will gain in the long term. I want the steady going up in value. I dont want coins that are just for short terms in short something like just pump and dump. Long term is the most efficient in my opinion because it gives you a lot of free time to do more other things that can help you become profitable.

I always do hold in a long term investment because i can get a lot of profit than short term investment. But i think if it is really needed like an emergency situation and incident happens then i will sold it in short period of time because life is a very important among others. You need first to take care of your life than anythings because you can't do this things without it.

yes I also agree with you, if you want to invest in the long term better buy BTC and ETH because both have a bright future.
if investing in the short term or to trade better buy altcoin because their prices are very unstable and the price is also not too expensive, so if our loss will not lose a lot of money.

There is a very large number of different strategies. Each case is different. In one case it is better to store coins for a long time, In another it is absolutely unacceptable.

I prefer to invest in tokens and coins for a long time. But part of the portfolio I'm trying to trade with some tokens. I'm studying news on projects. When I see a big announcement, I buy a token. When the price rises very well, I sell and search for the next token...

Some coins for long term and some coins can be profitable in short term trading. So the person trading in should be very much aware of the market prices of the past atleast 6months flow graph of the coin you select to trade.

Short Term
     -its a little risky , why ? because holding your coins for short term is good when profit , BUT! that will only give you a small profit
Long Term
     -Its safer because and this is a very good option because it will give you a very good profit plus holding it longer for some tokens also has a benefits like neo it has a gas monthly.

usually if i want to hold for long term, i will allocate the most part of my investment to it.
to less part of my investment will be used for trading in the market and use the volatility of crypto to gain my incomes.

I think Long-term investing is a key to create wealth. It requires patience, discipline and emotional stability to keep investing for long-term. The equity market is volatile in short-term but in long-term it has given a whooping return. But It depends on how knowledgeable you are about the investment/trading fundamentals and how much time you are willing to spend on researching the markets.

longterm is alway benefecial for you.  you can see the hostorical data of all the top coins those who hold have the huge benefit compare to those who sell the coins in short term.

yeah true , in my opinion ADA is has future . It has a good technology and a huge community and will do it in  the next month. i predict at least they will reach $3 at the end of this year or perhaps $1 in the mid of this year.

That's a good investment. Everyone should split the same investment property as you, 75% for long term and 25% for short term. As such, we will minimize the risk
