Why media against bitcoin ?

when ever I found any news about bitcoin it is negative news , i am confused why traditional mass media always against bitcoin ?

I think the media just write what they want and what the conversation is about in today's society or the world, so actually they do not know the true information about bitcoin before they join bitcoin and experience it themselves

I'm also wondering about the same thing. There are even business analysts giving their opinion about bitcoin and saying it's not worth the investment.

Much of the mainstream news media is little more than an empty echo chamber. There is very little insight or foresight into a lot of what is reported when Bitcoin is more mainstream they will be reporting on it like it was their idea, dont worry.

It is likely you have been opening the wrong media pages or visiting or listening to the wrong stations.
Negativity is relative to a standard.But you must understand that some of these media sharks actually have interest in the investments concerning the cryptoworld and its operations but don't know how to get into it and make the big bucks in it.....

I think they are just following what the government can say about bitcoin. Since, most of them work for the government and they are just criticizing how the government reacts with bitcoin.

First of all if there is a issue media will earn money, also it's negative so as we can see the issue will take too long before it will vanish. Second is the people don't know much about bitcoin they are just making opinions and the issue will be spread to others.

You can't just say this kind of things since not all of the articles, videos and blogs are saying bad things to this digital currency. A lot of people especially big names in the trading industry has some good thing to say about this. They might not like other things about bitcoin and some of them created something to mislead a lot of people but if you really want to use bitcoin, it is not that bad since it created a lot of new things out of the world.

Media is so afraid of bitcoin because since it's creation it has been used for illegal transactions and drug and weapons trafficking and that is because of it's anonymity. For someone who doesn't know how bitcoin can be good for economy and how much it is beneficial he can for sure be frightened of it's miss use plus media is saying that because people are interestred in  these kinda if news. Mentioning bitcoins pros would be a boring story and wouldn't get them so much views. 

They definitely don’t know or take care a lots from it so they always criticize it in negative way. However, I think that whatever they talk about bitcoin in bad way, it never reduces the quantity of people who use bitcoin. There even many people now are starting trading ,investing in bitcoin and it’s going viral. Because bitcoin is more attractive, popular and even a convenient way to earn benefits . Any way, I suppose that the media updating is always fake and it’s normal cause they don’t have a good look on bitcoin.

Most people or news channels that criticize bitcoin and altcoins do so because they do not understand what bitcoin and altcoins are. Why it has become normal for people to judge things they do not know they do not even think before publishing articles that criticize bitcoin and altcoins. You can see some governments that today say they will support bitcoin and tomorrow are in the press to criticize bitcoin. For people who own banks and certain governments who want to have total control of all their citizens so that their people become enslaved to their system, they do not look at bitcoin as a good thing. I myself do not watch certain news channels because they are news channels manipulated by the government or are manipulated by the elite of the political party that commands the country

I strongly agree on your opinion that, most people or news channels that criticize bitcoin and altcoins do so because they do not understand what bitcoin and altcoins are. And adding also my opinion that, there's some news that calls bitcoins as a "BUBBLE" which can burst anytime, but I don't think so. Perhaps traditionally only the hard paper money is considered as currency and digital currency such as bitcoins are assumed as fake or scam currency. In addition, media can be influenced easily, And the people who control it are the big politicians and the ones having big business branches thus, It's highly likely that they can influence media the way they want and also it's not weird to hear a news where you see people paying money to make such news.

Not all media is against bitcoin currency. Some media is managed by their countries; only such countries are spreading bad news about bitcoin currency. Some people really don’t understand what bitcoin is, they have no knowledge how it works. Such people are always against of some new good things coming in currency markets. Some have fear of losing their hold over economy, such factors purposefully damaging bitcoins image via managed media. But bitcoin investors have strong trust and confidence in their investments.

Everyone says their opinion on the behalf of themself, as for the mainmedia, in one hand,their are not the people who are interested in the technique like bitcoin,what they purely want to know is what influence it would made for their life,after they found it will make no difference for their life and someone can make money with such thing ,they feel uneasy,in another hand, some media is the trompette of the power who are against the develop of bitcoin for they can't control the circle of it,so they against the bitcoin.

MainStream media is also influenced by politics and government - and most governments throughout the world don't like bitcoins because they can't control it enough. I guess they hate the entire blockchain technology - the media too reflects that hatred.

However, lately - with more knowledge about the whole bitcoin-blockchain idea and the practical usage that Etherium brings in, I guess the media has started to be a bit positive about it.

Eventually when the general masses starts to invest more into the crypto coins, I guess the media too will understand the positive effects of bitcoin and stops being against it,

It not every media that are against bitcoin but the reason why some media are against bitcoin is caused by the regulator, politician and some banker which are not gaining from the crypto currency network but we cryptoner have one job to do and the thing is we also have to use the media to make people believe in the positive side of bitcoin not the negative spread by bitcoin hater.

Those media's are being payed by different people to air fake news or any bad representation about bitcoins to lessen the people who are investing on it. Most of the business that are being affected by cryptocurrency growth is banks or politicians.

Media is providing the news that is paid by the mighty people which are not fully supporting the Bitcoin. Bitcoin is representing the big threat to them and their way of the living because if the full progress of the Bitcoin is achieved many powerful people that ain't connected with the Bitcoin will suffer the big loss. Media is the propaganda that is restrained by the government.

Lol. This might seem pretty complicated but in reality, it really isn't.
You see pal, just think about the news today, or the things you hear, will you listen to something out of your interest if it isn't something that you are into already? Well, what if you hear some bad news or gossips of other people about a person that is bad, for sure it will catch your attention. This applies to the news about crypto. Most of the time, people will want the bad news in just about anything. Even on a clean piece of paper with a dot in the middle, your eyes will always be drawn to that dot ignoring the other clean part of the paper. Get my point
Media is money, which is why they will do everything they can for their news to sell.

There can also be other reasons than this and the banks or governments, but these were the only things that went into my mind right now.
