Why media against bitcoin ?

I think the reason why the social media againts bitcoin is because they are not aware on it and they did know the meaning of it and what can benefits can give of it.They say to the news negative from it and saying not true about cryptocurrency.
We find them hard to believe because ther were many scams now but we all know that bitcoin is not belong to those scams crypto.

I don't really  know the source or sources of news your talking about; but I would hardly believe all news against Bitcoins are negative. Although Bitcoins is arguable linked with the idea of promoting online scam, I have also come across news that are positive on how bitcoins is facilitating online transactions

Man see what he wish to see, not what is real. News about bitcoins are both good and bad, I like to read both of them, who ever try to be well informed here should read all news. Personally I don't belive in 90% of the news I read weather are they good or bad, most of them are exaggerated, I always try to read between the lines.
No one is against bitcoin, news are used as a tool for manipulation, who have money will finance news and trols, spammers that will spread fud around and its how panic is being created, same works for fever when good news make people to buy at any price, even on tops. I don't like what can people do with spinning the news, so I'm very careful and I read everything with a reserve, everyone should do that.

This actually depends on the media itself. There are some media supporting crypto currencies and some of them is against. As you all know that market is dominantly owned by bunch of whales and each of them own some media organizations. They all control media to manage our fears to control prices.

Not all media are against bitcoin, or reporting negative news about it. I heard once, that they are warning the public not on bitcoin, but on some groups of scammers that are using the popularity of bitcoin to manipulate the public. It is actually true that some syndicated groups are riding into the trend of cryptocurrency to fool other people. That is probably one reason some media are turning against on bitcoin.

No, media is not against bitcoin. Media is a medium to share some informations and opinions about something. So the people who are using the media are the one who are against bitcoin and other cryptocurrency.

From what I've seen the media hasn't been the negative about bitcoin.  The people that are against it the most are the bankers as they stand to lose the most with rival currency coming into play.  Bankers create money out of thin air by fractional lending.

First thing we mustn't have to underestimate power of media.  I personally belongs to advertising industry which have more share than production in market. Same as mediator. And for such type of mass audience can be drive towards any fact.

According to specification of Bitcoins as Peer to peer transaction, there is no middle men for authorizing such transactions of tokens.

I personally think that current media is totally centralized and manipulated as no one giving right information to end users.

Rather media must have to contribute at larger scale to expose potential of decentralized technologies and their features as well as future to common user to get aware.

The media have always focused on large businesses, whether to give good or bad news about an organization, company, or anyone, they will speak whatever is necessary to maintain the attention of readers and viewers. Now, why bitcoin? It can probably be a marketing strategy to publicize the cryptocurrencies or to promote the fight against them and favor the government, in the modern era it is not reported to maintain the knowledge within the people, it is done to cause opinions , the news generates opinions. Because drama sells newspapers...or clicks on a website. This is also the natural progression of human acceptance of a new technology. First people criticize it as a fad, then they say "well I would never need that", then they start to get curious, then they realize the want it, and finally they realize the need it.

We're in the "well I would never need that" phase with a few people starting to get curious.

Bitcoin's been making its epic run all year long. The mainstream media didn't care until August. And when they were reporting in August the news was all about "epic run, it's a fad, it's a bubble, bitcoin fans are foolish!" Now, in December, we're starting to see more articles about the future, the value, and the staying power of Bitcoin.

It's been fun to watch! Don't worry about the mainstream media...worry about your own personal comfort level with Bitcoin.

got it mate,thats how media works selling the drama while the truth is they only expose single side just to have proof,and some of them only waiting for brive to ignore what the real story is.but this thing dont bring bitcoin down,instead only letting bitcoin to be more popular.because good or bad publicity is still publicity

in my opinion i think its a conflict of interest, many of us will always put our interest above others and same goes for media, they will do everything to protect their interest, though i believe not only media is behind this scheme, but others as well including banks, government and other strong people/companies as well, those people/company or corporation who will be affected if Bitcoin becomes widely accepted.

I don't think that media in general is against Bitcoin. Instead, we can say that those who moderates that certain clips or articles are the one who against Bitcoin. We cannot blame then because they choose to be against with bitcoin. Maybe they have businesses that may affect because of Bitcoin that is why they did it.

Most big media is also controlled by big banks. And by that is also against the bitcoin. It is always bad news because negativevity sells. And if bitcoin price is low. Then they can invest more. Greed and money go hand in hand.
