BTCP had lot of hype before it starting its journey but everything was dealt very poorly intentionally or unprofessionally. It is hard for anyone to take risk if there is something solid because of many reason first marketing of this project from start and second market's general situation. There are two answers to the question why it is not on a large exchange: 1) is that large exchanges think BTCP sucks and they don't want to list it. 2) is that it's part of a strategy to accumulate cheaply and then release the news when the market is on the outlook for the next big pump or in general in a pump mode anyway.

You forgot about distribution structure of this coin which is not fair and that is reason why big exchanges are afraid to make it because of shady behavior of the dev. There are so many other controversial thing about this coin maybe they resolve these issue and find the way to grow healthy.
