I agree. Best pool to mine Zetacoin is: http://zet.coinmine.pl/

Switched to this pool. Lets see how it goes.

My block erupters are mining now  Grin but...

Can't login into the site http://zet.coinmine.pl/ on my ipad  Huh When I tap the loginfield nothing happens. Both Safari and Chrome have this little problem...

should be fixed now and you should see mobile theme

i was on coinex for the first few days. Works great but you can't make withdrawals just yet. If you can cope with waiting to withdraw it definitely seems to payout.

cheers

Here's one zetacoin.conf that is working:

Code:
rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=pass
rpcallowip=192.168.62.*
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=17334
port=17333
listen=1
daemon=1
server=1
maxconnections=80

Connect from bfgminer with the following command (zetacoin-qt is running on 192.168.62.152):

Code:
bfgminer -S opencl:noauto -S erupter:all -o 192.168.62.152:17334 -u user -p pass

At first I made the mistake of placing the conf file in the same directory as the executable, which did not work.

I then moved it to Zetacoin data directory, and everything started working. Smiley

I also moved my data directory to another and more spacious disk and linked to from %appdata% (can't stand programs placing huge amounts of data in my system partition):

Close the client. Go to %appdata% and move Zetacoin to where you want it to be (e.g.: D:\Zetacoin). Then run cmd.exe

Code:
cd %appdata%
mklink /D Zetacoin D:\Zetacoin

You can also compress the folder so it uses about 10% less space.

Start the client again.

The default RPC port is 17335 not 17333 or 17334. See this thread. https://cryptocointalk.com/topic/953-zetacoin-zet-information

17333 is the default connect port so that would cause a problem if you tried to put RPC on it.

Ah. The illumination in the room is not just because the sun came up. Thank you.

So, after all the rotten luck I had (and that's what it had to be because I was hashing away on 17334—default or not it seems to work) I got two blocks in just a few hours solo. And the difficulty has been consistently higher than back when I put my 30 hours in (though right now it''s low low low!) Variance is a fickle goddess, isn't she?

Right now the only real Service we have is a possible buy Steam games one. We need to brainstorm on some things that will use ZET. Right now the only use of ZET is to cash out to BTC.

I am working on 2 projects for ZET so I don't have any extra time to spend on more.

Guess we could run another 1k game where people brainstorm ideas, sadly I am a bit busy atm.

21 blocks so far. Part-time solo-mining for 12 hours (about 7 hours effectively) from today with 20GHs.

For those interested, I posted my solo conf and args at the bottom of the previous page.

Oh, and I am holding.
