Was re-reading the announcement page - it talks about implementing zero knowledge protocol later this year. Are the devs set on ZK protocols, or if the Mimblewimble protocol turns out to be successful would they consider/explore implementing that instead?
Correct me if i'm wrong but mimblewimble is still just a idea right? It hasn't been successfully integrated anywhere. Don't know if this idea can be leveraged for DO. |

I'm new to DeepOnion and have bought some onions.  But does anyone here know what will happen when the airdrops are over? I'm afraid the value might drop. The price might fall a bit but it will quickly rebound since many features will be announced after the end of Airdrops. |

I think you are right, grin is looking to implement the MW protcol - testnet at present with intent to release the end of 2018. A couple of other privacy coins (ie. monero) have suggested they might implement the protocol if it proves successful. So was just curious if this was something the deeponion devs were watching the protocol and considering if it proves itself. |

In 2013, it took over 2 years for the market to recover so don't get your expectations too high. Good news is that we are probably near the bottom so its only up from here!
I just want to say, I'm not going to tell anyone DeepOnion will for sure go up in value in these next 5 weeks. With the end of airdrops coming, I don't know what will happen but I suspect the price of Onion will drop in the short term. Hopefully the drop in value will be offset with the increased amount we receive in weekly airdrops.

The Value probably won't drop, if anything it will increase. Why? The people who have sold off weekly airdrops will no longer get those, therefore selling off their coins will be more risky - no more are incoming. Those who hold large wallets will find it more beneficial to hold and help increase the value rather than selling off at a bargain price. |

Effectively, after the airdrop is that we observe how strong it will be in the market, at that time we will be in more exchange, this will give an intrinsic value to the currency increased its value, really at this moment they are very undervalued. |

I am not super bullish either but there is no reason to be pessimistic, when I look other small marketcap privacy coins they seem doing pretty bad currently and even worse considering they do not even airdrop free coins weekly. All it takes is a bit more bullishness in the market and a bit more trading volume on Kucoin/Cryptopia/Crex24 and the future exchanges like Next/BitIndia and everything should be much better pricewise. |
