The protocol docs indicate the thermal thorttling is handled by the GN processor in high level mode

What is the maximum operating temp?
What is the clock/core throttling temp?
What is the thermal shutdown temp?

i wish they would change the MPP so its transferable, then i could sell my order an get some of the 45 btc i paid back

You could always sell the order and reship the MPP when it arrives.  If someone doesn't trust you, you could leave the BTC in escrow until you reship.

If you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen.
Cheer up and have another fucking pizza.
Who can't stand the heat? I'm having some fun here. It's the positive side of losing money like a fool, to troll the trollers.

You can't counter-troll me!  I counter-trolled you first!   Cheesy

I have no reason to bash HashFast because, unlike every other ASIC company, they are serious about building the best mining hardware on the planet.

How much are you getting paid by HashFast's competition go troll their threads with your silly, increasingly moronic and desperate FUD?

Uh no.  HashFast just like every other ASIC company is serious about making money.  Perhaps they will accomplish that with the best mining hardware on the planet or perhaps not only time will tell.  Or do you mean to say they will not ship until their miner is the best mining hardware on the planet?

Its clear exactly whats been going on from the start.
Hashfast makes a sick deal, sells a crap load of machines when market was at like $120 and gets them in stock prob 3 days later.
Decides to mine for themselves for 2 months and ship late October.
easy money.
then what happens? they see market is now at over $200 and realize that every day they stall they make a crap load more money. so its in their best interest to ship as late as possible and continue to mine for themselves.
Smart no?
they say we promised no matter then end of December so technically they have no reason to give the machines to us.
Every day is more coins in their pocket.
I would have done the same thing in their shoes.
I bet if market was at $50 they would have delivered machines to us early.
win - win for them.
Please tell me if anyone here agrees with me.
Do we actually believe it takes them 2 months to make these machines? or is it more likely they wanted to build them with our money and mine for free for 2 months. And now they are being even greedier and mining bec value has gone up even more?
Think about it.
Nothing we could do.

Ppl have speculated about exactly this occurring with a number of vendors and products now.  I guess it's no less likely to occur now than before.

ya fasure. I right from the start believed that they had the machines and just wanted to mine for 2 months themselves. I had a problem with it but overall i knew i would still make money if i got by late October. but if i knew they would be greedy and keep for 2 more months there is 0 chance i would have given then $1

Curiously, what do you place this belief upon?  Like, what have you observed that has lead you to this conclusion?

So merely anecdotal based on a common problem with the human condition?

Why would you think they had the "machines" right from the start?

You do understand the NRE, tapeout and first batch of wafers for any 28nm project is something on the order of $5M+.  They didn't tapeout until a after accepting preorders.   Fabrication time for wafers is based on the foundry schedule and often 60+ days.

It's called "projection". If hashfastcow had an ASIC company he'd rip people off in this manner, so he assumes everyone else would act in the same way he would.

you dont belive its possible?

you see its one aspect if its theoretical possible and one other if its actually happening.

what you state is that a miner company could possibly scam their customers and mine with the machines first.

yes, that could happen and yes avalon did so with batch#2. nevertheless there is not one little information that leads us to believe so. yes they are late but thats not like any proof for any accusations done by you.

doing successful business isnt about being trying to be the biggest asshole on this planet. if you would have only been one second in doing serious business you would have learned that trust and good longterm customer relationships build the groundwork for any really successful business that goes beyond one little scam.

in fact the way you seem to defend such asshole business behaviour tells more about you than about hashfast.

all ur numbers 5m+ is all what they are telling u. you dont know if they had the chips a year ago or not. you know nothing. for all we know they had them a year ago...been mining ever since...and decided they are coming out with new chips that destroy these and they might as well sell them for a crazy amount of money while they still can.
and trust in longterm customer? they got just for batch 1 close to 2 mil in sales...they know and everyone else should know that all this mining is just 1 big buble....get in and get out. they are the smart ones who will make millions while the rest of us attempt to break even.
trust in customers lol ya good luck in getting repeating customers after their big scam.
