How comes the market cap increased from 222.500 to 1.000.000 in an instant even though the price fell? (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/qbic/)
Since MARKET CAP = PRICE x SUPPLY, the obvious answer is that extra supply was generated, but how? Out of thin air?

It's a legitimate question... the answer is that the statistics on CMC had not been updating, so the total supply and the circulating supply were not accurate. We partnered with CMC to resolve the discrepancy, and they made the change a day or so ago. We hope that this time around it updates as coins are generated organically.

I was an early adopter of QBIC, I started mining it and holding it while also sponsoring the signature. However after 2 or 3 weeks with no signature payment and little communication from the dev team with bad engrish, I decide to sell at 10€ (lucky me!). Sure! So, a new Management Team, including myself, came on board at the end of February/early March to help the project recover and prosper. Our mission has been to reestablish trust within the community through transparent and consistent communication. On the backend, we've focused on establishing and legitimate use-case for Qbic. In the ~3 weeks, we've already completed: Meet the Team (https://www.qbic.io/qbicteam.pdf), Qbic White Paper (https://www.qbic.io/manifesto.pdf), and Roadmap (https://www.qbic.io/roadmap.pdf).. among various other assignments which may not be as apparent to the naked eye. The new website and logo are very close to being completed and we should have a new campaign rolled out within a week or so, if all continues to go as planned. So, to summarize, we've been working to reverse the exact reasons why you discontinued your following and support of Qbic. We're optimistic that we'll continue to do so and turn this ship around...

QBIC seems to be down more after new roadmap released. 

Possibly a few % points... but both volume and market cap are up (regardless of the market cap jump from CMC)! Plus, the entire altcoin, especially the MN coins, are getting crushed. We're not satisfied with where we are, but we'll keep getting better!

 I have already bought my 1000 Qbic coins and I can't understand what are the next steps of configuring the masternode. In the masternode setup (after receiving the exact coins in my wallet) there is a vps configuration set up. I researched and decided to buy from vultr for 5 usd/month package. However, I can't understand what exactly login with root user and run following  commands from console means. Is this console at the wallet tools debug console or is it at the vps website?

Started ou fine, then got the infamous WATCHDOG_EXPIRED thing, installed sentinel, everything was fine, received my first payment! UHUL!!!

After 10 hours, WATCHDOG_EXPIRED again!

Ran the Dr.eW script and voilá... WATCHDOG_EXPIRED!!!

Could someone help me out?

I really want to contribute and invest on the project, but with the little support on the discord channel and basically no info on the web is making me sad!

Starting from almost zero after terrible signature campaign. What developers/ managers of QBIC project should do is build trust, products up before thinking about any further movement. The project should take trust of their supporters back. It is very important for QBIC project.

Miner, what's your username on Discord? Did you check the pinned messages? There's plenty of mods on there that can help at various times throughout the day. In short, go by what's on qbic.mn.zone vs the status on local wallet. If mnzone says watchdog expired or enabled, its OK, just leave it; it will switch over to enable and you'll still be paid out. Only when it says NEW START REQUIRED do you actually need to restart on local wallet. Hope this helps.

Beside the reason of Bitcoin impacts, I think they had performed very bad in their signature campaign before, lost the trust of their supporters and sell a lot of Qbic coin in stock market
