I strongly disagree with bounty that asks bounty participants to do KYC because bounty participants do not make any investment, just help to promote a bounty, we also do not know what they will keep our ID safely Huh

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

On the one hand, it's really bad that bounty participants are forced to provide personal data to get tokens. It is not clear what they will do with this data and in what hands they can get. There have been numerous cases when the base documents of the participants of the bounty and investors fell into the wrong hands. On the other hand, such a test will help project developers to understand who they are dealing with. Whether they are actually sending tokens to a person or whether a bot has been registered instead.

in any case, the provision of personal data by hunters for bounty is not determined by anything. The fact is that there is a huge risk of making yourself a problem when to provide such information to a foreign party.

Though is not suppose to be like that but I think they are using kyc method to shortlist those that are using multiple account and also to protect another person from claiming what does not belong to them. In other way round, the bounty Creator have forgotten that if someone information get leak and used for wrong thing, it can damage d reputation of such person.

Suppose this is a good exclusion method with multiple accounts. Someone does not want to leave their data to someone unknown. But this is an unfair game, when announced the need to pass KYC is at the end or after the end of the campaign.

It is a requirement too high for what bounty hunters can get from their bounty. I think there should be rules as if some bounty hunter can make more than $1000, so they need to be KYC  Wink

Then join campaign where you won't need to pass kyc.
All managers have telegram groups or you can contact them trough PM and ask them if ico team is going to ask you kyc, they should know it. I hate changing rules after bounty ends.

Yes, I am totally agree with you. I am very worry about security of my data and ICO for me completely untrustable in such situation.

It's just an excuse for the campaign managers to avoid paying all the bounty hunters.

This is to avoid the multi entry, this is good for the projects to distribute there rewards equally but for hunters it is not good. But this kind of projects that requires a KYC is most like a good project so its all worth it.

I personally do not see any problems, because I do not think that scammers will be able to use them somehow, how to build a database for participating in other projects under someone else's data. In general, I think that KYC is just the process of the evolution of the technology of selling tokens to combat with scam projects. And most importantly, it arose as a decentralized solution, and not as a solution for some individuals.

Of course sometimes it strains especially when you do not take your documents but for safety it's a plus
Checking KYC security for participants of the generosity campaign ICO does not add anything. ICO fraudulent teams can also conduct a KYC review and conduct it, and then escape not only with the money collected from investors, but also with all the collected identification data of investors and bounty hunters. To whom does this add security?

I know KYC is important to avoid spammer, and false account, you can easily make thousands of false account, to get an easy bounty, if there are no KYC, than Spammer/hacker get his money, but when KYC, spammer/hacker doesn't get anything, because he cannot give thousands of ID cards.

But I don't love giving my ID card to unknown person... I can be dangerous. (identity thief?)

What's do you think?

I think it will help to exclude multi-accounts. Yes, maybe it is not safe but you will know that you are participating without the cheaters.

it is actually right, by doing kyc, multi accounts will decreased, those cheaters must be disqualified for not following the rules. and I think your identity is safe after you passed the kyc. so there's nothing to worry about.

KYC for bounty hunters?
I don't really oppose KYC rule for bounty hunters because it help check cheaters, but my concern is that it also deprived some real bounty hunters of their hard earned tokens. Which is a disadvantages to me.

Do you think so? You give your ID to unknown person, how can you trust somebody who will pay you only after getting your personal data?

Yea some bounty do it to verify some important information about holders of their tokens so that they don't get into legal trouble in future.I think if you ain't comfortable with it just don't bother doing the bounty.
