I appreciate you posting as well as contacting me regarding me replacement board. I also understand that you guys get busy, but communication is key, especially for a newer company trying to grow a customer base. The crypto sphere can be small at times and a lot of it resolves around word of mouth and forums like this and reddit.

My goal in buying you from you guys was part wanting a system just as this and part wanting to provide a impartial review on your product as well as comparisons to other similar products on the market so that less experienced buyers can have a reference to make their decisions.

It is my hope that communication will be better going forward especially now that crypto is your only means of payment for now.

Yes, thanks for the feedback. We do agree that communication is key and for the past few days a few emails got a bit delayed.
Our team and sales are constantly expanding and we will improve on every matter.

As you can see from other replies and posts, we try to do the best job we can and we take every client personally. Nobody gets ignored or left hanging.Smiley

Just that sometimes it seems that people here or on reddit don't want a business to succeed and start posting things in less than 24 hours, when we have not had time to respond even yet. We have always sent out all replacement boards and always refunded every refund request. We take this very seriously.

Do you guys get better support from Aliexpress or Alibaba ?
We are based in Shenzhen, China but most of our team is from Northern Europe and we do understand how important quality products, good customer service and reliable warranty is.

Anyway, sorry for the long reply. Sometimes it's just very frustrating when you do your best and when you wake up and go to the office you see that people are posting things on forums that are not true. Sad

Thanks again for your purchase and support! Also we have a phone number on our website that you can call to receive a quick reply. And our "Live Chat" customer support team works in multiple timezones and is only 24/7 every day of the week .

They posted about the PayPal issues a while back. PayPal froze their account due to being crypto related. Not sure of the legitimacy of the claim, but that’s what was posted a week or two ago. I’m not saying their product isn’t legit. I’m running the board and case with no issues, but their responses to my warranty issue have been super slow. I’m hoping it’s just a matter of them moving, but it doesn’t look good when you can post in breads promoting your new fully built rig but can’t handle customer concerns.

its a lie in my opinon.

As I placed the order after he  said  he closed paypal.

When I ordered my date was 10-20  as you can see photo was altered.

I would hate to see a few people spend  a lot of btc on the fully loaded  gpus units to get nothing.

Requested refund today. from website.

I will follow up  but I feel there is an issue here.

Philip, we refunded your order.
Also, here is proof that our Paypal acc is still suspended even though we have uploaded all the info, including the tracking numbers.
We have weekly phone calls with Paypal to try to get our account unrestricted but it's not happening soon. We decided to ditch Paypal and we will have credit card processing up and running in the next few weeks.

Sad to see you are posting information here about us that is untrue. This creates a lot of stress for our customer support team who are doing their best every day and working hard to make sure each and every customer is satisfied!

@ yankees he said he had a paypal issue he was working to fix.

I said I would wait til paypal was fixed then order.

I went to the site on Feb 26 and placed an order with paypal

So I figured paypal was fixed.

When I went to check on my order this morning to check on shipping.

There was a notice paypal was no longer accepted.

There was a second notice that my shipping was delayed.

So I formed an opinion that there was a lie.

Based on that info above.

I was missing this info below.

once he refunded me and he showed this info

I feel he was not lying about paypal.
I do a lot of sales and If paypal froze my money
I would not  want to take more paypal.
the info below shows  his paypal funds were frozen.

Based on that screenshot the issues they are having with PayPal are actually pretty common. When I started my video game business I had to go through the same thing twice in the first 2 months. When you first start a business and all of a sudden start doing a higher volume of money it raises red flags in PayPal’s systems and they freeze your account. It’s very disruptive business wise. I had to provide a bunch of documentation but once I did and created some history with my sales I didn’t have a problem since.

I would recommend providing the necessary documentation and most likely you would be able to resume PayPal business without further issue.

Yeah ,but it can take 60 days and that can kill cash flow.

So I can understand the issue they had that caused problem.

So in my case my order was only 224 usd.

But if they had a large order or two freezing 5000usd  or more it would cause them grief

It took me 48-72 hours to provide the documentation and get my account opened again. I’m sure there are variables to every case, but typically PayPal wants to resolve the issues if possible as they want to get a chunk of that money as well. They just want to limit losses via bad/fraudulent business. Once you prove you are neither the process moves pretty quick.

I did lots of eBay sales and I have had funds frozen for as long as 22 days.

And my eBay record is perfect.

My guess is a large order was backordered and funds were frozen until item reached the buyer.

So if I ordered on feb 26 and item arrives to me on March 20th

Funds freeze for 23 days.

So if someone purchased a 6000 usd order of mobos on feb 27 that money will stay frozen until March 20

You can usually get around the 21 day hold by having the buyer click confirm receipt button in the payment once the item is delivered. Finds will usually release in less than a week after that.

does anybody use dual atx power supplies with this board? I believe with a regular riser build you want to avoid having a gpu powered by one psu and its riser powered by another. It looks as though this would be  unavoidable with is board, 1 psu would power the board(and its pcie slots) and some gpus while the 2nd psu would be powering the rest of the gpus that were connected to the 1st psus powered pcie slots. would this not be an issue on this board or am I over thinking this?

the rig I would be transferring over uses 2 evga 850 G2's, 4 pcie each that I use for cards now and molex for my risers in current build... would I be able to use molex to 6pin adapters to power the board?

Well, I got my Octominer case in, and I found a huge problem. Its supposedly a 4u rack mount case, but it doesn't fit in a standard 19" rack!..its over 22" wide! Oops.
So its useless for hosting in any datacenter, unless its a mickey mouse one that just uses shelves, vs proper enterprise racks.
Also has some very nice Delta PWM fans, unfortunately the PWM and sense leads are literally snipped off, so fan speeds are not controllable. Grrrr

Hey!
The 4U is for the height of the case. We had the dimensions listed under the product descriptions also.
Sorry to hear that you did not notice it during checkout.
Regarding the PWM  wires. Some batches of fans had them snipped off, all the fans work fine though and this will not be an issue. This was due to our case supplier using fans they had in stock, otherwise it would have made the production times longer. Currently there is also a shortage of high quality fans in the market in China due to all the mining activity. Smiley
We also have a fan speed controller coming out soon that can be used with those fans without the need for the PWM wires. Will be plug and play.

Let me know if there is anything I can do to help you.

i dont have the octominer board but i run two evga psus with my riserless onda b250 d8p, a mining board with similar layout. all mobo connectors are one one psu, plus several cards. the other psu is powering only cards. i use an add2psu to control the 2nd psu.

not sure about adapters, my psu dedicated to the mobo had enough native connectors to run everything without them. but if using molex (rated 75 watts)  to 6 pin (rated 150 watts), i would use a 2x molex to single 6 pin type adapter. use no more than one 6 pin on a 2x molex adapter per psu string.

Thanks, and you are right. The dimensions are clearly listed, I just assumed rack mount. So far, everything works quite well, and the motherboard was easy to use with Win 10. Do you know when the molex fan controller will be available? Also, are you planning an nvidia version of the prebuilt version?

I got news for you buddy. First, HPE is far from the most reliable server manufacturer. IBM/Lenovo and Cisco run rings around them. Second, who do you think designs and manufacturers all those server power supplies for tier1 OEMs like HPE?  Grin

My experience:

However - server PSUs have been nothing short of a nightmare. First PSU flashed a bright white on startup and didn't turn on again. Second PSU worked and I managed to mine equihash on HiveOS. But then I heard a loud SNAP, and found the PSU dead smelling of burnt plastic and hot to the touch. Tried the third PSU after, but it never even turned on. There is nothing abnormal about my house and I already had two rigs going.

There is a reason proper/real/genuine server psu`s have two letters on them - HP Smiley Do not buy Chinese junk. They are not real server psu`s, Chinese clones of HP products. Only buy real HP stuff, which will last you years to come and won`t risk your expensive gpu`s.
