If you get credited for blocks - they should be paid. Otherwise all mined blocks are orphans and you should migrate to another algorithm. |

Ok. It's all clear for me. I'll go out from zergpool. Is it possible done payout less than 0.004 BTC? With commission for example. Any ideas? I want to go, but I can't, because I should mine for minimal.  |

If you lost money it seems that the only reason for you loss was that you mined on zergpool because the 3 statistics from zergpool increased 10 times in profitability for X17, a very steady algo. They also did not react on zergpool and the majority of miners with all type of statistics (current, 24h estimates and also 24h actual) increased 10 times as you can see in the statistics. http://i67.tinypic.com/dw26av.pngtop 3 statistics that are 10 times higher than any other pool for 5 hours are all from Zergpool with colors purple, green and yellow. What do you think ? Anyone still wants to mine on this pool that is the only one with problems, or should we switch to a different pool with better management ? I think they will go from 5k miners to 1k miners very soon, the same thing happened with hashrefinery pool when they proved themselves unreliable. |

Why you spam with the fork/ wrong blockchain stuff? Bad luck or too greedy or too unexperienced miners!
I count myself to beginner miner. Mining for 5 months now and turning off soon...
But I just jumped once for more than 5 minutes to a pool which mines on the wrong chain. Maybe my IQ is higher then usual...
This happened to respectable pools. It depend on their reaction if you still can recommend a pool to your friend. Forking may happen with pool wallet problems. So it often is not the pools fault.
When they, the pool, don't react. -> That is bad.
If it takes a few hours... this can happen. Bad Luck. Everyone has to sleep sometimes.
Every miner should think. If it is to good to be true... It is probably false.
Why don't they pay out the really mined, confirmed coins, when you are made unable, by the pool, to fullfill minimum payment requirements. They should payout ASAP. This should be clear! If they do not. They are scammers or don't give a shit about their customers!

Do you know why this problem only happened to zergpool and the other pools had no issues like this ? What was the problem, in simple words? XVG coin suddenly got f*cked, it forked, and the miners who was mining that coin on zergpool.com lost what they thought they earned on it? |

Comparing zergpool and hashrefinery in a same day and same algo x17 with XVG.Zergpool eat my profits but hashrefinery paid to me.Note this is not the first time.

I imagine PinPins will have better measures in place from here on out. I will judge the pool based on what is learned / fixed from this. I've had great results from ZERG other than some growing pains (server upgrades and overload stuff). For the record... I lost 0.015 BTC to the issue last night. It won't kill me but it is bothersome. So... in short... there is NO SCAM... at worst poor error handling on the pool / the fact that a guy needs some sleep. |

Nice zpool clone it appeared. But with lower earnings because of to many Orphans. Much worse than all the others. He actually takes more than .5percent. In my testing it is more like 10percent, which is about the same as all the others. The difference is pinpin is a scumbag about it and hides it.

I hope it was upgraded decently and solved disconnect problem, at least. Also such a sh*t can happen with _any_ sh*tcoin, at _any_ time. Whoever is not ready to take this risk -- those shouldn't mine sh*tcoins, first of all. Actually, they shouldn't go into mining at all, for that matter -- mining is not a "business", and even less it's a "set-and-forget passive income", it's more like gambling with your money on stake. Anyway, I hope the pool-owner will fix that XVG issue pretty soon or drop that coin forever. |

Following happened last night. I was around when it all started with XVG, disabled it. Contacted dev, he confirmed regarding code change and advised to recompile wallet. So did I, and left it running on last release. Though during the night Europe time it got forked on new wallet. That was unfortunate, pool fork protection didn't worked as earning grew 6-8 times, not 10 as protection supposed to trigger disabling.
I am sorry for inconvenience, will think and design more smart ffork protection at pool side.
Regarding fee, community insisted I keep it 0.5, which gives some room for better network and HW upgrades.
Hope it explains, happy and more safe mining to everyone

Actually, checked more. Fork protection triggered as expected after some time, issue was also that miners were using 24h estimates, which look back for average prices in last 24h, and of course were higher than mining remaining shield coin in x17
