Very sad to see the pool shutting down.

I just wanted to say thank you to Pinpins and everyone else involved for the hard work and dedication you’ve put into this project. I’ve been using the pool almost since inception and I never experienced any major issues or felt cheated out of any earnings. It’s been a good run. Good luck in your future endeavors.  Smiley

I just find it extremely questionable that no advanced notice was given on shutting down, except the notice itself.  I loved this pool with all the algo that the other btc-payout pools didn't have.  But i find it questionable that no advance notice, nor reason was given.  Did the russian mafia catch up to him?

with advanced notice, i'm sure a few of us could have gotten above the minimum threshold.

The payouts are finished (it was posted on discord yesterday) - if you're below the threshold you don't get a payout.

(update: altcoin payouts - other than btc/ltc) didnt work, ad he will do the rest  today)

I didn't reach to the threshold because he shut down the pool.
So he is a Scammer

If there were 1000 miners like me, he robbed about BTC1= $6300

Totally agree with this, I don't get how a pool can post a 24hr closure with no warning and just take anything they want from those that didn't make the cut on reaching minimums. Definitely was not handled morally in that aspect. Which astounds me a lot seeing I actually felt I could trust this place.

Me, didn't catch this news in time, I do profit switching so fell under this amount. Is it alot of money? not for me personally but this pool definitely wasted my power bill when I could have had the warning in advance and put my resources on other pools that actually stick around. Not cool but enjoy the lump sum from everyone, if this pool ever pops up again, won't be adding it to my list on Awesome Miner ever again. This seems to be the scam exit year for so many pools and projects....but its good thing maybe in the long run, with some luck these types get out of the industry and maybe 2019 we can less of that activity on users trying to back Crypto as lifers

we removed the pool from our autoswitching software as soon as we got the news (and all users with our clients were automatically updated) - still lots of users miss some bits because of threshold. We also lost some mining fees there.

Personally I would be curious what happened, that he shut down the pool in such a short timeframe. Maybe he was hacked (by some stupidity, so he don't want to say) and pays from his own pocket, maybe it's some sort of blackmail, maybe tax reasons, maybe investigations (in that case he would not be allowed to say anything)

There are a bunch of good pools out there but make sure the admin of those pools are honest and open with all their members before sending any hashing power to them.
Or you will end up not receiving payment from them even after you have completed blocks for them.
It has happened to me several times already.
And make sure they have a group for members to respond to them and their team so to solve any issues right away and not be waiting hours or even days for them to solve their problems with the sites they provide to their customers, the miners.

A lot of scam pools coming out of the word work now making themselves seem as a legitimate pool.

Closed? what a shock. Knew this was gonna happen when he snuck coins off my account and stole them. It was the first month it was around. The posts are in this thread somewhere.

Also did not receive, it is not my fault that closed the pool, this is theft.
