Not really, I personally invested a lot in AChain, while it was up, just to see how it collapses last week by more than 60%. The telegram is very active, however, like most telegrams, it is simply filled with speculators discussing price and exchanges, with a little discussion of the actual project itself. I prefer disagreements when specific channels for speculation are kept separate from the main channels associated with the discussion of the main project.

Sure. Social activity of the project participants can say a lat about loyalty to the project. I also look at twitter, facebook and telegram of the project to decide whether participate or not.

Telegram's influence on social network can provide great advantage to ICO especially when there are many members. But I think this does not mean a sure success of the ICO. Because I see a lot of ICO with telegram supergroup but does not do well in the market. I think a great team, sustainable platform, supportive community, and effective marketing campaign still contribute to an ICOs success.

I think telegram is not the basis of the success of the ICO .  It's too simple to fake it a big group doesn't mean necessarily a success.

Yes it's true telegram is a sign for successive ICO. Huge subscribes in telegram and more active subscribers & admin it's most important sign for a good ICO. But now most project collect huge subscribers by a airdrop before start ICO so be careful..

It's not, because majority of the members in the telegram group with 10k or more members are bounty hunters. It also doesn't translate the success of the project. I would rather have a 1k members in a group with a genuine investor with few bounty hunters. Because the group would have a very good discussion about the project.

Telegram members  number is not the measure of the  success of a project. The quality, activity of a telegram community is more important than the quantity.
I saw telegram groups with 60 k  + members and not active at all, full of fake members, useless for the success of the project.
And also saw quality 4 k telegram groups contributing big to the success.

Yes that's true as I observe some of investors measure their trust in ico by there telegram accounts how admins and team are active and  how they treat the participants and investors so if that is in good side that ico project will have a successful future.

I'm agree with your point of view, if an ICO have a lot of members in their telegram group it means their community are grow up bigger. Sometime they are already make airdrop campaign too so the community growth bigger day by day. But for measuring they project will success or not, we can't decide from their members. It depends on how much the investor to invest at the ICO..

I agree with you but 50% only. You can really see the admins and devs talking to the investors and members through their channels. But I also disagree with you since determining ICO success for me if they really made a huge impact to the community or whatsoever.

Given that we can not understand for what reason a person decided to add to the group, this data is useless. Many projects conduct airdrops in which the entry into the telegram group is required. So in the group there are a lot of people (many of them are fake and bots).
