English is considered a de facto official language in the Philippines. Most politicians speak either their own language or Tagalog (Filipino). There are differences, but that's better looked up in wikipedia or elsewhere.

The nice thing is that a lot of official documents also have English translations so you can use this for international purposes.

Different regions speak different languages because the country is physically separated by large bodies of water. It's an archipelago, just look at the map.

And also why the country is having a hard time claiming the Spratly islands (Scarborough Shoal) and Sabbah.

Hi!

After successful transactions with MadSweeney and Jesehl (thanks, guys!), I'm glad to announce I'll buy BTC for PHP up to an equivalent of ~ 20'000 peso. I will buy at the USD 24h avg as indicated on: http://bitcoincharts.com/markets/currencies/, unless we agree on something else. For USD to PHP conversion I will use the Interbank 24h avg Bid as indicated on http://www.oanda.com/currency/converter/

To give an example: Right now I'd buy 1 BTC x 6.25 USD x 42.1290 = 263.3 PHP

Your advantages:
  • No need to deal with PayPal (risk of charge back; time required getting your money out of there; PP USD <-> PHP exchange rate mark-ups...)
  • Money in your bank within hours (during the week), full PHP amount as specified in our agreement

I however ask for some sort of rating (preferably on #bitcoin-otc) or referral by MadSweeney or Jesehl and a minimum amount of 20 BTC, again, unless we agreed on something else.

My ratings are in my sig.

Feel free to PM and have a chat  Smiley

Hintay muna ako until those things start shipping and people start reporting actual performance and power consumption. Baka kasi matulad sa anouncement ng FPGA Singles noon.

Medyo kapos rin sa funds as of now, I bought 4 x6500 last month and also ordered 1 Single and 1 ModMiner. With the FPGAs, profit is better so I might have enough funds to upgrade the FPGA Single later on.

Just wanted to post. I've been busy eh. Wow, there's activity. Count me in for future transactions, but I'm not liquid at the moment, so a little bit in the future (for small amounts.) heheh

I joined localbitcoins and put in my formula based on weighted average.
https://localbitcoins.com/accounts/profile/Dabs/

But I only have P1000 to P2000 to buy your BTC, and I only have less than 5 BTC if you want to buy from me. hehehe.

Send me a message with how much you're looking for.
