you should have done this from the start before you announce your coins, nothing personal, actually i respect you and your effort and the concept behind it, if it was not named as PHCoin i would have been one of the supporter of your coins, or if the coins were planned seriously, the algos, wallet and not just copied and cloned 50% premined country coin, or if you just made it 100%  premined PoS coin.. and aloting 25% of it to Filipino community.. and other percentage to other country and projects, this could have an impact. lots will jump in for freecoins, thus creating your  community

Where are you buying bitcoins?  It looks like coins.ph and buybitcoins.ph are bad price or many identification papers demanded.  Do fellow posters have contact for good price, close to BitStamp or BTC-e?

Sandia, please check the prices at http://www.coinxchange.ph.  Prices better than other local exchanges, and you can buy/sell up to PHP 25,000 a day without submitting docs.

You'll never get prices exactly at BitStamp levels for a couple of reasons:
First, BitStamp and BTC-e are priced in dollars, and if you're buying or selling in pesos, then there's a conversion involved.
Secondly, to buy/sell at BitStamp or BTC-e, you have to do an international wire transfer, which takes time and costs money.  If you buy at a local exchange like coinxchange.ph, you can buy/sell on the same day.  You can also deposit from or take a withdrawal to your local bank account for free.

Plus of course we provide local support in the ph time zone

Scrypt-n was obviously the next target for ASICs. It's the other algos that would truly be shocked when FPGAs and ASICs show up.

@Mike, clean up your code, if using litecoin source, take out all references to litecoin, and replace with PH coin.. Also, maybe your addresses should start with P instead of L. Finally, use the latest source, including the latest OpenSSL.

When you relaunch, put a 1 coin reward for the first several hours (like first 300 blocks or something) and have some sort of NGW retargetting.

Well ... X11 ... interesting, I may have to resurrect my GPU rig for this one.

Kindly supply a custom BAMT image or something similar... or PIMP.  then all you need is a pool for this. Take notes from other successful coins, they have active dev teams, and whatever the specs or algo, publish it in advance, and don't change it for the next 20 years. When ASICs come for X11, the coin will be mature enough to take it.

I also have ideas for what the specs for this could be, since you're going to launch it anyway.

Lastly, forget any air drop unless you have the resources to pull it off. Just don't have any pre-mine, or very little, then let everyone just mine this coin.

P.S. Make an exchange for PHP to PHC.
