Bitcoin is meant to be fast and exist between his blocks in the blockchain so more secure then this is you own pockets. AS long as you take all your measures of protection against phishing/hacking etc. When we talk about values the blockchain is the most secure sistem in the world.
Perhaps if the government on a world scale gets to bitcoin, trying to control it, then all its advantages will cease to exist. I do not think that with the help of Bitcoin it will be possible to earn good money.
