I think that by the year 2018 bitcoin can still survive despite the market price decline, it is not easy just to make bitcoin really fall, bitcoin fluctuations now is something reasonable, just as happened in the previous year, I think still normal . until now there has been no convincing signs that bitcoin will fall. |

When bitcoin had the ATH of almost 20K, everyone was lyrical and we were sure the price would increase to 100K or more. Then a price correction followed and almost everyone believed this was a bubble that was going to burst. And 2018 will be the downfall of bitcoin. But the fact is that all the FUD lately is creating a decline, people are scared to invest with all the rumours of cryptocurrency being banned. But when the price has declined to 8K, the mainstream will start buying massively and bitcoin will rocket again.

bitcoins fluctuation has always been same with ups and downs and people are afraid of it whenever it falls and become happy when it goes up which is a normal thing also in 2018

The situation now we face in btc price shows that it already happened. To see that price going down and lets base the price to btc supply I think yes 2018 is the downfall of btc price. Maybe someday btc price will back again.

People were complaining about the price of Bitcoin when it was around $500 and now they are complaining about it when it's $10,000. The complaining won't end though there should be a higher price next time. |

2017 was a great year for bitcoin. See the price chart in 2017. Does price always rise? You shouldn't expect the price to rise all the times. Wait. It's January now. 11 months left until the end of 2018. |

Maybe it could be. When it continuously dropped down, but do not lose hope every situation has its own positivity like this, this is one of the biggest chance to buy bitcoin for its lowest price and sell it when its value spike up again to its big value. This situation happens all the time.

We can’t say yet that this is the downfall year of bitcoin since its only January and we still have 11months to bounce back. If you look at the history of bitcoin this scenario is very normal, the market will not go up straight we need corrections. I expect bitcoin to start the rally going up on february, be more patient. |

Go through the list on this website: https://99bitcoins.com/bitcoinobituaries/. See how many times people thought it was the end. We could go through a 90% crash today and I still wouldn't doubt the badger. It'll keep coming back. Might fade into obscurity at some point, probably due to some better version of itself, but I don't think it'll ever die. |

I don`t think that 2018 has some special downfall regarding bitcoin as its price have experienced downs all the time and after that huge pump it is normal for it to be into the downtrend.

If you check the history of Bitcoin you will see the same patterns. Cryptocurrencies market is volatile. So because of that you cannot say that 2018 will be the biggest downfall. Bitcoin has seen massive dumps in the history before. Until summer we can even see $50.000 levels. There was a correction and it has ended. |

It just a first month of the year, only speculation we have about the crypto currency. And if the crashing of bitcoin is the topic I think NO cause it will stay and stay in our market because of benefits to the user. Even it is good or bad. Be smart, if you think that it is dumping Hold and wait the right time for the better price. It will recover and recover in the future because of popularity now in some countries. |

I do not think that could happen to bitcoin in 2018 and many years later. Bitcoin is still the coolest value in the market and bitcoin itself has a lot of good platforms that the current altcoin does not have. Bitcoin still has strong support from investors and there is no reason why the bitcoin will disappear in the future. |

I saw the forecast that 50k $ should reach the end of the 2018 role to be another record. Today, the price is something stable +/- $ 1000. |
