*Newbie Here!* Because of fluctuations in the value of bitcoin, is 2018 going to be the biggest downfall of bitcoin? What do you think?
I don't think so. I believe that Bitcoin will rise up soon though there are some dips this month but that's normal. We've noticed thay Bitcoin looks like inactive and decreasing but still Bitcoin is the highest among all cryptocurrencies. There are speculations that Bitcoin will rise up soon and will exceed its highest price as compared from last year. So, don't lose hope and be patient to wait until the price will go back to its highest level. |

you can always do your research first and check the past data regarding BTC. Though the is not exactly the same, you could see that they are somehow similar to what's happening right now with the cryptomarket. We experienced a huge price spike last year and this correction is so much anticipated by the veteran traders. I am calming waiting for spring and for new price's records.

I don’t think if bitcoin will fall in year 2018 because I think in a year 2018 is also the year bitcoin that will make us were shocked to be the price is very expensive, but we can see if the price bitcoin now it was down, but we see wrote in the middle of the year 2018 is bitcoin will make us were shocked again and in that moment bitcoin will draw a lot of the attention of the world.

2018 is just at the beginning. Bitcoin is dropping but i think it will recover in the coming months. Bitcoin is so popular and it will dominate the crypto world at the present and in the future.

As I think now in 2108 we are not sure what will happen but those who have a broad idea of the bitcoin market may decide to invest in it. I believe that the crash bitcoin will soon be replaced by growth and by the end of the year we will see the bitcoin will be worth up to 50 thousand.

no 2018 is not the downfall for bitcoin price, just see on the year before like 2017 or 2016 on the January the price go down too. i think because many people withdraw their money and turn into Fiat and use them to buy their need and the news about the regulation too made the price go down. i believe that after this january the price will high again |

i think it's not, because if you look at the history of bitcoin every year this retracement happen everytime. i think this down will lead to another all time high, cause a lot of people still new to bitcoin. it is still happening.

on the end of 2017 i really confident that bitcoin can reach it's new ATH on early 2018, but after there are a bad news on bitcoin,cryptocurrency to be preciese there and here. The price is on contradicting with my predictions
but just like i said on other threads i still do belive on bitcoin
Although 2018 really started with the fall of Bitcoin, something like that happened in 2017 and in 2016, and it was also winter that time. It is early to make any statements, but I believe Bitcoin will grow again. |

Nope nope nope!! Fluctuations are normal happenings in bitcoin trading and so that doesn't mean bitcoin will collapse. You'll be surprised to see the price of BTC in some few days or months, many people are accumulating as it's low now

Value fluctuations of cryptos are just normal since they are volatile in nature. You can see the crypto markets bleed green, and occasionally bleeds red too. There have been factors why these happens and everytime a downfall occurs, there is always a rise too. |

Decreasing the price does not mean that it will be the end of bitcoin. But instead be happy because this will be the chance for the new adopters to buy and to everyone who is interested in investing bitcoins for future purposes.

The value of Bitcoin is fluctuations and this is a normal. There's many evidences that these is a normal. You must read more information and articles about cryptos and look what happen before. I'm sure that after a few months, bitcoin price will raise again. |

Don't let the FUD goes into you because if you will allow the FUD to get into yourself then you will not be able to invest and believe in bitcoin anymore because you will just think that almost all of the things that we are saying here is just a bluff for you. 2018 will be another great year for bitcoin and not a downfall for sure. Just look at the history of bitcoin based on charts and compare it right now.

I don't think so, because a downfall may affect the other coins out there. Currently Bitcoin is the market leader for all cryptocurrencies. It presently has a strong brand name to adhere to. If Bitcoin falls badly this year, it will create a general skepticism about other cryptocurrencies too, so you can possibly see a situation of the others falling as well, when the leading coin is not doing so well.

Surely you are still a newbie coz with a little dump you are already getting anxious. Please please please do remember that bitcoin will always rise after a dump, because that is its nature. It may falter for a moment but buyers are always there to buy the dips. Given a scenario that it won't rise again, their will might be another King, fitted to the throne--it might be any of the thousands of altcoins out there. But then again who knows what the future holds, who am I to tell the future. But one thing is for sure, I trust my instinct. Do you trust yours??? “Only one month passed in 2018.”yeah but like this is a prediction thread so it should even work in like December of 2017. Just sayin |

It's an old news every new year there are always predictions that "this will be the downfall" of bitcoin.
Errrr I don't think that's even possible with the popularity and trust bitcoin earned to this present day.

It is too early to tell that 2018 will be the year bitcoins will be dethroned. A lot if factors can spike the price of bitcoins and push the price either down or up. A lot can happen in a year. If you were to ask me, however, 2018 won't be the end of bitcoins. I have complete and utter trust in it. |

I don't think so. Bitcoin is unstable. We all know it. It is normal for bitcoin to increase and decrease its value. We have to be patient and wait for the right time for everything.

I don't think the price of bitcoin will be cheaper in 2018. In my opinion, the bitcoin price is being restrained artificially. Today expires the first futures options on the CME, now nothing restrains bitcoin from growth. As soon as the Chinese investors return to the market, we are waiting for take-off.
