I already see a problem with one of the coins. KED has a retarget of 480 blocks. As soon as this coin gets added to cryptsy, it will be gang raped by miners, diff will be pushed SKY HIGH and it will languish in high diff hell. I think that this should be addressed before the coin goes on an exchange, I would like to see these coins succeed.

Where did you read difficulty re-target of 480 blocks?

If you have read it somewhere this is not correct.  If you have looked at the source code and determined based what you spotted, you need to understand KED is slightly different than most Scrypt / POW POS coins in that there are extra variables at play.

Retarget should happen every block.

the KED 480 Block retarget is in the OP. Please update it as it seems that is incorrect. Also UFC doesn't list a retarget time.

I'm a fan of the coins myself well its the nerd in me that likes them Smiley I would like to list them are the devs opposed to this?

This offer has had me thinking all day.  The short answer would be Yes we would like the coins to be added to cryptsy.  However, we would like all 3 of our coins to be listed in a kind of "all or nothing".

Also If i could ask of the potential time scale?   Because we would very much like it if they were added to cryptsy after we have opened our SciFi coin exchange.

Please let me know what your thoughts are.

Sorry that was me copy and pasting.  I was in a hurry when I posted this thread originally.  Now corrected the OP

Sure they "could" be added on cryptsy... but I think we should give your exchange a fair chance first...

GPL is low diff at the moment.  I am fairy sure it will be worth > 0.04 BTC in 3 months time.  You can all quote me this back on New Years Eve if I am wrong.

I am quoting myself here!  I meant to say 0.004 BTC.

But 0.04 is not an out of this world figure.   Heck 1/1 BTC to GPL is not an out of this world figure with a coin cap of 1 million and way over 1 million StarTrek fans.

All but GPL is updating well. It loads and I'm still syncing with that one but I get this error at launch:

"Warning: error reading wallet.dat! All keys read correctly, but transaction data or address book entries might be missing or incorrect."

Looking into it now.  the update is not a hard folk so worse case senario you can revert back to the old client.

NOTICE: I Believe there is a bug in the new GPL client/daemon concerning transactions other then Coinbase. I would suggest waiting to upgrade until this is figured out.

I discovered it when trying to switch over the GPL block explorer and the explorer database would not sync up. After a complete fresh database build, I noticed there were no transactions other then Coinbase.

So I did a compare with the daemon running the pool (Old version) and the New version now on the block explorer:

Two transactions looked up:

On the new daemon:

Code:
gpl$ ./goldpressedlatinumd getrawtransaction 3bb17f9849aca67aecaddc19d830af14521e3fad758fc6c9dd0225008a708c25
error: {"code":-5,"message":"No information available about transaction"}
gpl$ ./goldpressedlatinumd getrawtransaction 1c8fbb5c4146a91fe895471c347314a514d930827ffbf4687dc7589c36b2e92a
error: {"code":-5,"message":"No information available about transaction"}

Same transactions on old version:

Code:

Code:

Anyone with the new GPL client or who has setup the daemon with the new source code. Please Roll Back

We will be rolling back and adding checkpoints without the TX fee update.

KED and UFC are unaffected

I have temporary suspended payouts on the GPL Pool for the next few hours to avoid problems with clients/daemons that have not roll backed the latest update.
If you have updated your GPL client/Daemon please roll back!!!

Please use the GPL Pool and Block explorer IP's as addnodes to make sure you are connecting to at least 2 good nodes:

Anyone have any info on how to setup the ybcminer for GPU use?  I usually use a GUI miner with all the parameters as options.  Not really sure what I need in my bat for this one.

Thanks everyone

What a pity...  Angry   Cry

Code:

[2013-10-01 11:04:56] Lost 2 shares due to stratum disconnect on pool 0

Thanks everyone

I have been using this scrypt-jane miner at http://rghost.ru/48162507

After the download I renamed the .exe to GPLminer  then I put the scrypt-jane folder in easy to find place so when using your cmd prompt you navigate to it easy. Once you are in your cmd prompt, navigate to the folder the GPLminer.exe file is in. Then start it up with this cmd line to mine on the pool. (copy and paste if you need to)

GPLminer --scrypt -o gplcoin.com:8888 -u yourworker -p yourpassword --Nfmin 4 --Nfmax 30 --StartT 1377557832 -I 17

To mine solo use this: Make sure you have the GPL wallet software running and sync for this.

GPLminer --scrypt -o localhost:8344 -u yourworker -p yourpassword --Nfmin 4 --Nfmax 30 --StartT 1377557832 -I 17

Edit: There is also a Win64 CPUminer thanks to ig0tik3d Wink found below this post vvvv
cpu miner for gpl (win64) (if not wrong nChainStartTime = 1377557832  Grin)
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B9cvOfoOekSdSnUtSmltRVQ2WFk/edit?usp=sharing
example start:
Code:
minerd -a scrypt-jane -o stratum+tcp://gplcoin.com:8888 -u workername -p workerpass

p.s. for gpu miner --Nfmin 4 --Nfmax 30 --StartT 1377557832 (if in source code is right this parameter )

Do not delete wallet.dat

Is there something wrong with the wallet, that you want me to delete it? I need specific instructions, because I am not a wallet expert. Is there a sci-fi coin main website where you can make announcements like this, as it seems to get lost in the threads at the forums I think?

By the way, if anyone has any GPL for sale, I will consider buying if the price is right.  Smiley

2BACCO Coin is my favorite now
