KED - Klingon-Empire-Darsek (Darsek)Check points added, 22622 block client hanging issue fixed, & splash screen fixed. https://www.asuswebstorage.com/navigate/s/A00C8F057B6148D4A279C0E319F80D904UFC - United Federation of Planets Credit System (FederationCredits)Check points added, splash screen fixed. https://www.asuswebstorage.com/navigate/s/7462AA2FA2894FE490C3611E275A146B4GPL - Gold Pressed Latinum of the Ferengi (GoldPressedLatinum) Check points added, splash screen fixed & 2% fee corrected. This is planned as a possible hard fork later. Link on hold while we investigate an issue. Please delete your old clients, and delete all the files (except wallet.dat) in the folder C:\User\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\NameOfClient This folder is hidden by default. to show hidden files follow the flow guide below. Start > Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Folder Options > View Tab > Show hidden files and folders Do not delete wallet.dat Is there something wrong with the wallet, that you want me to delete it? I need specific instructions, because I am not a wallet expert. Is there a sci-fi coin main website where you can make announcements like this, as it seems to get lost in the threads at the forums I think? There will be a domain, but we are waiting for the exchange first. Did you upgrade to the new GPL wallet yesterday? If the answer is no, you don't need to do anything. If you did upgrade to the new wallet / client all you need to do is the same process. Basically whenever you install a wallet on your windows PC it creates a folder to wherever you have extracted the files. This is your wallet (not to be confused with your wallet.dat) When you first click on the executable file (the one with the GPL icon) in this folder it will create a second hidden folder called GoldPressedLatinum. It can be found C:\User\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\GoldPressedLatinum. When you want to upgrade to a newer version you need to find this folder, and inside you need to delete all files (except wallet.dat) . You also need to delete the other folder that contains the executable file (most people will have this folder on their desktop). When you have deleted this folder and all the files (except wallet.dat) in the hidden (most people refer to it as the roaming folder), you can then unpack the new client/wallet. See the steps below; 1. delete the wallet folder (usually on the desktop & does NOT contain wallet.dat file) 2. navigate to C:\User\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\GoldPressedLatinum. 3. inside this folder delete all except wallet.dat 4. unpack new client that you have downloaded to where ever you want (most people use their desktop) 5. run the new client by clicking the executable file that has the GPL icon. 6. thats it, now go grab a beer and celebrate. --------------- Just a note; The wallet.dat is what contains your information regarding what coins you own, and the information on transactions. It is very good practice to backup this file and keep it in a safe location, ideally password protected & offline (eg. on a memory card, USB, cd, dvd and kept safe) if anyone ever gets your wallet.dat then they can steal your coins. I personally backup my wallets on 3 separate media and keep them off line. You can keep these wallets that may contain $$$ safe and then you could happily delete the wallet.dat on your PC and when you load your wallet again it will create a new wallet.dat that will be empty. This reduces the risk of loss. This is good practice for anyone with a lot of coins. Advanced users - may want to store there wallet.dat in a different area of their PC. on windows this is done by opening the wallet using a batch file with the -datadir=d:\BitCoinData extension where (BitCoinData) is the name of the folder where you want to store the wallet data.

I'm GPU mining GPL (6.5kH/s) and would like to add my CPU on. I tried various miners (on page 11 and 12), and they failed with "Received empty message" or something. When I change the protocol to "stratum+tcp", it immediately exits with "try minerd --help for more information". Could someone help me?

Yeah this is exactly the problem I am having which is why I asked for help with the setup syntax. I can't get any of the miners I have to mine GPL (as per above). I've an old scrypt-jane miner I can solo with, getting good hashrates but no blocks. Nothing will even try to start with the pool. Any assistance would be much appreciated.

The Grand Nagus has announced that the GPL issue is resolved.He also told me that the 2% vs 0.02% has been resolved and that the best way forward is to stay with the 0.02% tx fee. Splash screen fixed and checkpoints added. fully tested. TX fee 0.02%https://www.asuswebstorage.com/navigate/s/26B91778711B4DFC8B808C4FB8C9D0EC4 "Once you have their money, you never give it back"

I have added a modified version of YBCMiner to use with Gold Pressed Latinum to my github. The compiled executable is included, but not guaranteed to work (Compiled on Ubuntu 12.4) one should only need to use the -a -o -u -p parameters in the command line. (The modified Miner already has the GPL parameters hard coded - just use the scrypt algo) https://github.com/Hartland/ybcminer_gplI use the cgminer.conf file for my miners. Example (With a couple HD7950): { "pools" : [
{ "url" : "stratum+tcp://gplcoin.com:8888", "user" : "<username>", "pass" : "<password>" } ] , "intensity" : "17", "vectors" : "2", "worksize" : "256", "kernel" : "scrypt", "lookup-gap" : "2", "thread-concurrency" : "24768", "shaders" : "0", "gpu-engine" : "1000", "gpu-fan" : "0-75", "gpu-memclock" : "1250", "gpu-memdiff" : "0", "gpu-powertune" : "0", "gpu-vddc" : "0.000", "temp-cutoff" : "95", "temp-overheat" : "85", "temp-target" : "75", "api-port" : "4028", "expiry" : "120", "gpu-dyninterval" : "7", "gpu-platform" : "0", "gpu-threads" : "1", "hotplug" : "5", "log" : "5", "no-pool-disable" : true, "queue" : "1", "scan-time" : "60", "scrypt" : true, "temp-hysteresis" : "3", "shares" : "0", "kernel-path" : "/usr/local/bin" }

Linux executable (Linux does not use the exe extension) If somebody wishes to compile the git into Windows, that would be great. I have had zero luck cross-compiling anything from Linux to Windows, and I do all my development in Linux. Nothing against Windows, I just find development in Linux easier.

If so read on... "How to pool mine GPL" The information is here in the thread, but I know it's getting to be a big thread now so I have added the information for you here. download scrypt-jane_gpu.zip http://rghost.net/48162507Write a batch file as per below. Place it in the same folder as the ybcminer.exe setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 ybcminer --Nfmin 4 --Nfmax 30 --StartT 1377557832 the first time you run the batch file above you will need to manually add the URL (stratum+tcp://gplcoin.com:8888) then the username (user.worker) and then your password. Then it should then start hashing, & you will need to save a config file same as CGminer. While it's running and hashing away by pressing "s" then "w", then enter, enter.

He seems to not be able to pool mine. With your question I have not idea if its possible. You can GPU with the way suggested at the pool and just leave the client turned on with gen=1 in the configuration file and then you will be mining both. GPU at the pool and CPU solo on the machine. If it is possible to combine the GPU and CPU then good luck, but TBH ive never seen it done. I think the best place to look would be one of the YAcoin threads.
