Hi all,
I am a relative newbie but have remained pretty calm during the difficult last week or so. The markets are falling significantly again, is this still relatively normal and is the best advice just to HODL? Moving forward I think I will set stop losses on all holdings to protect my capital against falls like this.
Thanks
nothing that we can do, hold or buy more in cheap price. alone you can't change market price, that is why just be patient and hold it more. that is simple suggestion from me because that is what i do now

Do not be afraid of significant price reductions, I'm sure the price will definitely go up again but it takes time, just a little patience to wait.

Sometimes the best thing to do is to do nothing. Yes, no trade is a good trade in these times. If you have not sold your alts by now, there is no point now in selling them at loss. Learn about market cycles.

With the fall of the market, I stick to the tactics of waiting. If I have the opportunity, then I invest in those currencies that are experiencing the greatest pressure of the market and are at the bottom

I suggest your hodl as you might cash out too early and then regret it. There are so many FUD affecting the market like regulators banning exchanges and government trying to force taxes on exchanges

The best is to keep calm. I remember seeing that Bitcoin was once at $32, and then dropped to $2 or something. Imagine buying at $32 at that time. Any one now would kill to have bought at $32.

HOLD is the best way for now. I think you can add some coins with a relatively cheap price. I think the market will return to normal within 1 to 2 weeks ahead. I will add some potential coins while the price is still cheap it is my strategy

My tactic is to sell my portfolios for USD tether which usually can hold its price with some minor fluctuations, then when i start seeing green i ca then buy back my portfolios but with some profits now.

There is pretty much nothing you can do so being calm and analysing the situation and think what you can do like holding or buy more as the prices will be cheaper will be more productive than worrying or panicking.Every year's starting there is drop in market so don't try to panic sell your assets because prices usually tends to go up as the year progresses.

Going in in the cryptocurrency market , you should have known that it is a risky way of getting profit, as much money is there to be made in it there is also money to be lost, right now the cryptocrrency market is facing many problems one of them is regulation by the goverments so investors are waiting until thing become clear before dumping their moeny into it, but as soon as things gets fixed it will resume its growth, so holding right now is the only thing we can do, if you are impaitent or affraid to lose more moeny then go ahead and cut your losses, but when the prices go up, don't come crying and regretting that you didn't hold.

Holding is very much effective. Yet you should not forget another important thing, you need patience. If you know why we need to hodl then you will be calm and it will trigger you wait until prices recovers.
Hodl is for hodlers.
I truly admire those to buy cheaper bitcoin during dips. And those who knows how to predict when will it actually rise and fall again. Traders are awesome.
Also, try keeping your coins in safe wallets. Don't want to lose anything before pumps happen.

The most important thing is not to sell at a loss to yourself. And to be honest, I try not to enter the market on such days.

I think that when the market falls, it's a great opportunity to buy interesting coins. Then wait for the right moment to sell them later. the main thing is to do it before the rebound.

I dont panic and I hodl. Sometimes the best thing to do is doing nothing. Yes you can sell your coins and buy tether. But what if the coin you have goes up again. I know that when market falls down, it will go up again. I keep being calm and keep holding.

In close future I think that the market will go up and then everything is going back to normal. If you want to make some money you can invest now and wait 1 month or so and go and sell all. Or you can do stay at home or work and just watch the market and sorry for not investing in it early.

The crypto currency market is different to other market due to it volatility which could something lead to deep fall in price and huge increase in price but all this are normal. Meanwhile, the only tactic involve in crypto currency when the price is falling is to control your feelings and hodl wait for the time when you make profit before selling.
