It's not about how long, its all about how can you live life without gambling. Other people make a living out of gambling so they can't relate on this one.  I have been gambling since I was in high school. I only stop if I don't have money then go back once I have some. It keeps on repeating until I ended up being broke. I don't want this to happen again so  I just focus on my study. I still gamble every time my friends play cards but that's about it. Luckily, I always win because of my previous gambling experience. haha

I agree with you, it's how you live without it. But it's going to be hard, knowing that you are going to stop something that has been a part of your life all the time. That is true if you were addicted to gambling or even something else. It's like a circle of life that it keeps on round and round and the situation is that you are going to be that guy who gets addicted. It's fun to play with games especially with friends.

For me gambling in my life is just an entertainment, I want to gambling if I don't have task, I always prioritize my activity than gambling. And when I on a gambling site, I choose to play with limit like bringing small amount of money and playing of 1-2 hours, this is because I want to take out some stress. But if the sport is the topic, I can't avoid to gamble, in this scenario I love sports and to become much fun I bet any amount.

i can stay without gambling because i am not a gambler in terms of playing in casino or play cards but in terms of  life survival i am very much a gambler...i will do anything as long as it wont do no harm to me and my family just to survive.

Addiction can be avoided or be prevented, as long as you can control yourself then you will not get addicted ever. I was an addicted gambler some years ago, I played online poker game almost everyday but luckily I can stop it after I got a big financial problem because I lost too much money. Indeed it is hard to stay away once we get addicted but it is not impossible to do it.
As for now, I can stay without gambling as long as I want and I'm sure I wont get addicted again because I have experienced how bad is the effect of gambling addiction.

I was once addicted before but now i can say that i had totally overcome  gambling addiction.I still gamble but only in times where i feel so bored and don't have other things to do.I just miss the fun and excitement everytime i won.At the present time i'm not really into gambling,now i'm more into trading and investing in ICOs.I think they offer much more profit compared to gambling.

the only thing that stops me to gamble is when I do not have the slightest money to gamble .. because gambling addiction can not be stopped easily .. seemed out of control when we can not stand to do gambling ,, this is all must be felt by the gamblers

As long as i'm busy with PUBG and biking, I can last without gambling and I've been doing that for how many months now. You only need to focus on other things and most important you must love what you're focusing with so that gambling won't come into your mind.

Frankly, I don't gamble all that often. I also don't have a need to gamble. I'd say a few months.

Gambling is not really a "need" or the thing that we should do. Playing gambling is not that bad if you know your limitations and you know what will happen if you risk too much money on it. After losing a huge amount of money, it should be better if you are going to stay out of it forever, because if you'll keep on coming back, you might lose what you could have in the future.

That if condition is all where the actual problem lies. You see, it is not very easy to figure out those limitations. Suppose, one has made a perfect plan for his gambling hobby which will protect him from big loss or any kind of suffering but the real game starts after this.

It's good that you already have a good plan before you gamble. But I will remind you of the fact that even though we already have a good plan, sometimes, a little situation can change it especially when we realize that we've lost a lot of money because of gambling (the total amount of money we throw at gambling). You will fix one amount and play or whenever you will have the money you will play. if your choice is 1st then it is ok after losing that money you can stay back from this gambling this is a good idea. Yes and specially those people who have become addcited to gamblng. In fact addicted people cannot stay away for a single day from gambling, they want to play gambling daily. To me i personally addicted to gambling and i really find it to hard to stop gambling for a single day, i always manage to make myself free for playing gambling daily and never compromise to quit it for a single day.
