I am not a gambling addict so there will be no problem if there is no gambling for years too.But is is only for the people who seriously addicted to gambling so we always need to be aware of our limits while gambling or else our life will get too complicated.

I am also not an addicted gambler but surely I won't stay out of it for so long, like 1 year. I like the game of poker and blackjack and few others, so I am addicted to the gameplay not to make money out of it. So, whenever I get free time, I come and play and enjoy the game. The maximum duration I was away from any form of gambling is 25-30 days approx., I didn't made a count so ranged it.

You may be new in gambling therefore you are not addicted to gambling, otherwise those people who spend a  little more time in gambling they become addicted and then find it hard to stop gambling at all. For example i am playing gambling for more than 20 years, therefore now i have become addicted and i really find it too much hard to stop gambling so easily, i even cannot think about to stop gambling for a little time. Even i will try to quit gambling i may only be succeeded for a little time.

Yes only those people who are not addicted to gambling can stay away from gambling otherwise it is very difficult not quit gambling or even to stop playing gambling for a little time. I am playing gambling for a long long time and therefore now i find it hard to stop gambling, Although i past i tried for few times to quit gambling but i only succeeded for few months and then when find a suitable condition for playing gambling then i start playing gambling again.

Control is the way to stay without gambling. This is what I do when I'm craving to gamble but now that I have conquered this feeling, well I can say that I'm ready and I can stay even without gambling for a month or so.

And sometimes I would just keep my wallet away from me or cash out all of my bitcoin so that I couldn't gamble.

When I have spare money to gamble I'm not that selfish to give myself a good entertain if I'm sure with what I'm betting.

I am also shocked that how a gambler is able to control himself from gambling for six month. I think these would be days not the months but if it is really a truth then this person should be appreciated for the work he has done. Like you, many gamblers instead majority of the gamblers can live without gambling for a week. This is the limit and beside this limit, they start begging to people to take them away to casinos where they can live their life by gambling.

It is true that now we spend less time with our close ones and have no one to talk with. i did gamble but not regularly and i gamble because i want it and i have money to do so but if i feel i have no luck while gamble then in the middle of game i was able to leave the game too and find another activities to forgot my losses however my longest time without gamble i can survive more than 1 month

Accessibility nowadays is very present in almost everyone's lives. I would say I do not know. Since when people don't have any funds or eventually run out, then they stop.
Cause how else would they continue to wager when gambling without a bank roll?

If I had to guess I would say about a month, since I was at a time my debts were more important to myself pay off and gambling was definitely not a priority, unlike most gamblers who do not have control do not see it this way.

Cant deny with this thing which accessibility is one of the reasons why a gambler wont easily leave gambling which almost surrounds us do really give the chance for us to engage with it easily.We do know we are already on a high-tech era which chances is high to play again and temptation will really be high. As long as i'm busy with PUBG and biking, I can last without gambling and I've been doing that for how many months now. You only need to focus on other things and most important you must love what you're focusing with so that gambling won't come into your mind.

PUBG makes me busy too, as well as Mobile Legends  , but if I have only minimal time and I liked to play , i still make some time even a few rounds with lower bets since we all knew how we should hold at the moment our alts till they pump again, maybe many limits their gambling as this season of reds and just tries new online games which somehow more exciting to do so.

Mobile legend and other games can bring the gamer to addiction. Worst thing that might happen is that it may also be used for gambling.

I think what OP means about this is not actually you are going to quit but you will try your best on how long you can stay away from gambling. That was good but it is not that easy for the gamblers who has been playing for a long time. Anyone could stand without it if only a person truly wants to stay out of it and focus himself with the other things around and spending time with her family.

In my own point of view, i can control myself from playing gambling even for a long time by finding things to do like playing basketball or going to the gym rather than thinking to gamble. It is great to know how would you to control yourself because if not you are experiencing extreme addiction in gambling.
