how long you can stay without gambling?

i think i can live without gambling it's been 6 months since my last gambling session and i dont get the urge to gamble again it's not a problem for me anymore and its pointless to gamble if you do it to entertain yourself as there are alot of ways to entertain yourself.

that is great for you and you have a good control of yourself to not playing gambling. I realize that for some people, it is difficult to do but if they can keep trying to not playing gambling, I think they can leave gambling once for all. yes, I agree that we have another ways to enjoy our life and entertain our life and we don't have to play gambling.

i was gambling recently because of the NBA game i thought that lebron james can handle the game becauses he always score high but the game really sucks, i already stay away from the electronics gambling which i can't easily win too , fat as i know when you risk make sure that you can afford to lose because i saw someone who is crying because of the game earlier , anyone can easily chases their bets depends on what where gonna be.

Sports gambling even still make sense a little bit as sometimes you use some factors to judge on the possibilities of seeing one side winning and one side losing, but at the same time it is all about luck. I really prefer sport betting to normal gambling as that at least makes me enjoy the game with some blood rush with my friend and at least know that life is not always going to give you exactly what you want or think would happen at times.

In the real gambling world, I guess people focus too much on winning; they let it affect their emotion and then allow it to take control of them. I can stay gambling for as far as I choose to, which most of the time, is so little that I wonder why I even go there anyway; maybe just for the fun I get at times.

Then what is the reason you entered the casino? People go there to gamble and not to do some sight-seeing. I don't blame the people who are tempted to gamble inside a casino because it's like putting an ice cream in front of a kid telling him not to eat it.

Except that ice cream will not do you any harm but if you are not careful gambling obviously will. lol. There is actually no point going into a casino without the sole purpose of gambling obviously and for those who go, how long they can stay away depends on how addicted they are.

I guess in the scale of 1 to 10, I can say 0.1 for myself since I can actually stay a whole year without gambling and probably once in a year or two if I just really miss the fun. Let's face the fact; there can be huge fun in a casino if you are not blinded by trying to make money from your activity.

for me it is not a difficult thing for me, can be called not too addictive weight in gambling, can control anytime and a very long time, gambling activities of late that I have not done very long do not feel the atmosphere of gambling, and decided to quit better doing activities that were more profitable for me and my family.

Yes, i do agree there are many other ways to entertain us but it will allow us to spent some time with the family. But people who are addictive to gambling will not spent their time with the family members and they are happy through gambling.

The ones who are there in the gambling are not happy with it and that they are looking for the ways which can help them in staying away from gambling. The only thing which can help you in doing so is to realize the importance of the earning which you make and that you must utilize that money at some constructive place which can then help you in making of more money. In my own point of view, i can control myself from playing gambling even for a long time by finding things to do like playing basketball or going to the gym rather than thinking to gamble. It is great to know how would you to control yourself because if not you are experiencing extreme addiction in gambling.

Gambling is not even something one should be involved in everyday when one is not addicted, as it should be an occasional thing. I can stay from gambling for as long as I can, unless there is just this appeal once in a while to hit a casino and just experience a little fun or change environment once in a while, and this can even take some months for me based on my busy schedules or how I am involved in some other activities asides gambling.

I think not only some days, but I think one should never ever step inside some casino for gambling because it will lead to him to live a life where he would beg people to fulfill his basic life necessities. And he only would be responsible for his doing and no one would stand by his side, not even his family members because they can’t see him facing such circumstances.

I can control the desire to gamble and even though for example when I have money but I have no mood to gamble then I won't gamble at that time. Moreover, I do gamble only with small part of my money and if I lost it, I will stop instead of chasing it with my other money.

That's a good control of yourself and not everyone can do it. Once they lost or win they can't keep theirself away from gambling. Eventhough after withdrawal, they will say, okay i'm going to rest in gambling but the fact is they cant so they will make a depo in a few hours or days again and again.

I also have the courage to control that. In the start when I start the gambling I was on there daily for some time but after that I thought that it is also taking the time of my work and if I continued like that then I will not be able to do my work well. Then I did not given much time to gambling and when there are more time then I do not go to any casino but focus on my work.

As long as you were able to control yourself in gambling, you will be fine or the risk will be lower.
Gambling is a big distraction in your job if you are not doing it responsibly, worst case is that it could be a reason that you might lose your job.

This is the right way of controlling yourself. Don’t be addicted of gambling because then if you do not have money you will do some illegal thing to make money for your gambling addiction. Different people can spent different intervals of time without gambling, it depends upon their limit of addiction for gambling. If someone wants to quit gambling then he should spend his time in some other activities either with his family or in his hobbies. Moreover if a person is a successful gambler than he would spend less time without gambling and if he is unsuccessful than he could quit it more easily.

Yeah, a very good one and the thing that makes most people to see gambling as a daily routine stuff is simply because they have seen gambling as a way to make money and that has made them so addicted. It usually starts with losing a lot of money and then getting stuck with the idea that may be this last time, you can win it all back and walk away. If it was that simple, there would be no addict today and that is what a lot of them do not understand.

All non hard core gamblers may control and may stay perfect. A gambler's life will be completely different before and after addictions. I did see many people got into gambling addiction even they just started to try their luck with faucets. If you stay like how you are now then you must be a blessed one, imho.
