Come on man, everyone has their own thing to have fun? even my friends collect robots and spend more then tens thousands of dollars to buy various kinds of robots, it's not a problem because he likes and happy. and I think it doesn't matter if someone spends some of their money in gambling for fun?

Everything is a gamble to some extent, technology especially can go nowhere in development.   We should recognise as so much is questioned of blockchain technology even when its very viable and durable so far.   I know the depreciation is gigantic in technology, just not buying anything for a couple years can save thousands as the prices can half in that time.    Whether thats the right course is debatable.

Being able to step back in gambling I would also argue is essential as an option and knowing when not to take the bet is probably going to save alot of cash.  Never gamble when tired or way past drunk, I feel people compelled to gamble always are heading for trouble.   I only try to gamble when it interests me and I'm happy to commit time, if I'm rush or busy elsewhere then I cant really take the option

Discipline in gambling is difficult how long a gambler must live without gambling and its difficult but not as difficult as thought,gamblers who want to leave the arena must be quarantined but still difficult.Break my words if there is a heavy gambler who lives without gambling and surely he will gamble again unless he dies.I mean it's a heavy gambler who lives every second in the arena.

If people are self discipline in their life then their is no question that arises because they know their limits and can control them self even when they are losing will move away. It is for those who are greedy in life and want to make money from the gambling and keep playing and keep losing generally rather than winning. So such people cannot stay away form gambling.

Before When the time Im still an addict , I will not deny that I cant live a day without playing a gambling game. My longest was 3 months, and that is actually right now, when January hits I have stayed away from gambling for almost 4 months, its not that hard if you  can simply co trol yourself, there are quite some ways that will tempt me to gamble especially when gambling online because it is so convenient that you can easily gamble without even taking effort to play since you are gambling online you don't need to drive or walk onto the casino, though I controlled myself and just simply took my mind off of it by playing games and by simply taking time away from my phone and spending time with my family and friends, you can do it too! it's not that hard if you'll keep yourself productive on other stuff.

That is indeed true. Gambling addiction is what makes gambling, prohibited into some countries. Many people have lost millions, properties and even their lives from stressing out due to their losses. People should know what gambling really is, especially its main purpose. Gambling is meant to be an activity for entertainment. It should not be something which would cause you trouble. Well, maybe, we just can't blame those who became victims of such addiction. It is frustration which is they are battling with. As long as they are losing, they won't stop maybe because of their pride. What's on their mind is stopping once having the taste of victory. But once they have experienced winning for the first time, it would even push them more to gamble.
It will leave a mark that they are having a chance to win, and as such, they would exercise that chance more, in order to have more winnings. It does sound foolish but once you are in such scenario, it would really be a huge problem. I, myself, was almost caught up into it but good thing my fellow gamblers reminded me of taking a break because I am losing that much. And now, I am playing only for fun, without having stress whenever I am losing because I am no longer having thousands of losses. In short, I am now just gambling to kill time and not to win big time.

There isn't anything similar to the thread title that I can't stay active without gambling. I used to gamble when I've excess of amount after spending upon all my needs. I was under my control, so I can stand for much longer time period without gambling. It is all about the self need and we should not link it emotionally.
