in my view altcoins which can be appropriate for long-term conserving are the pinnacle 5 in coinmarketcap, due to the fact they already have a large network and will keep growing along with the development of crypto

At present, the risk of investing in ICO in this market is very large, so I think this is not a good choice. You can study more cryptocurrencies in the market. They have advanced technology. I believe they will have great future. Rising space.

If you are looking for a good altcoin for long term, I think ETH, Stellar and XRP are suitable for you. Also this coins is rising its value so there's possibility you can get high value after a long time of holding.  Pretty much the alts inside the top five are a very good long term holding.  Grin

If you want to invest for a long time, I think Ethereum is a very good choice. It is one of the most promising cryptocurrencies on the market.

I think that many altcoins are investment projects. It's no surprise that the implementation of these projects takes time. We must wait for the projects to realize at least some of the project's functions.

You do not need any recommendation in this forum. what you need to do is to learn how to make your research very well and decide on which altcoin to hold. However, you need to hold solid coins in your portfolio. Hold bitcoin, etherum, neo and maybe waves for he long term.

I suggest to invest in  NEO, EOS, ONT, TRX. But i think If you want to hold an altcoin for a long term, make your own research and look for a coin with an active development team, active and good marketing strategy, a coin with a good potential, or a coin where you can gain a passive income. Then you can decide about the future of the altercoin

I strongly suggest for investment on the ethereum only. The price for ethereum is small and will soon rise.

I think you should invest in Ethereum, Ripple, EOS, ADA, OMG and NEO. These are the altcoins in which I also invested and I think that in the long term they will bring you a good profit.

I'm about 75% BTC and the rest a mix of alts, with my larger alt holdings being XMR, ETH, ZRX and BAT.

I'm not sure if BAT will still be around in a few years, but XMR and ETH most definitely will. XMR for obvious reasons and ETH simply because the majority of top 100 coins are built on it/use it in some way. ZRX because Coinbase's DEX is being built on the 0x protocol.

If you would have been active until now I guess you are not a newbie anymore as you have experienced the worst days of the market as this post is in January or you have just become pesimitic and left everything. Whatever I would suggest wan for the long term period as it has a very low price right now.

I think ethereum is good for long term investment. Bitcoin also is good. But I think EOS is better for now in long term investment since EOS become top of the china's altcoin.

You can certainly consider ZenCash. This is an excellent coin that promotes new, innovative ideas. This crypto currency is distinguished by its stability and propensity to further growth. It trades on many well-known world exchanges, such as Binance, Bittrex and Cryptopia.

Hi everyone,
Im a newbie, i just known about Bitcoin in 1 month. I decided to spend my money that i have saved for a long time in Bitcoin. Please tell me some name of Altcoin, i want hold it until i marry.

Thanks for all response
What's your age? When are you marrying? Lol It really matters
Though it might be a joke but it really matters because if you are looking for a long term investment then wisely code a fundamentally strong coin else you would end up losing everything.
ETH, ADA, EOS, BTC, LTC, ETC

All coins are good from this list, except Litecoin. I think after Charlee Lee has left this company they have no future without him.
