All you need to do is to make some research on the type of altcoin you want to invest on, maybe it's a promising altcoin, I can suggest you invest on NEO

in the case of holding long-term altcoins I recommend that you hold one of the top 10 altcoins in the CMC, because I have already proven it myself several times, such as the BNB and ETH and increased price movements can produce many benefits for you to get.

for altcoins that can be used as long-term investments must have enthusiasts and very active buying and selling transactions, this is to avoid scam coins, I advise you to buy ETH and NEO

I think if you want to invest in altcoins for the long term, it's not suitable. Because altcoin is very difficult to predict in the future, so the risk is quite large, altcoin is more suitable for short-term investment, you can take greater opportunities and profits. Long term is only suitable for bitcoin, but this is all my opinion.

If I were you, I would choose Monero.  Because despite being the part of a highly volatile ecosystem of cryptocurrency, Monero has been stable and growing at a pace that makes you feel secure. After invest in Monero you can mine it for good returns of investment as well.

Dragonchain. It’s a hybrid system that lets a business (enterprise or startup) have its own chain and achieve enterprise consensus in stages all the way to one or more public blockchains (eg BTC or ETH).

If I am to choose altcoins for long term, I think I will prefer coins that are built to as a platform to support other tokens, typical are ethereum, EOS,WAVES,NEO etc.
I do the same thing: prefer coins that are built as a platform to support other tokens. I hold Cardano, EOS and Ethereum. I think these are the best coins to hold long-term, they are the future.

Good idea, but firstly you should know how cryptocurrency operate, understand fully the volatility. You cant go into an investment without knowing what's all about... After much consideration, Then you should now make research about any top altcoin you are interested in. Presently, I'll suggest you ETH for long-term investing.

I think NEO is at a really low price, you could buy it but the time you will have to wait could be too long, depends on what you are aiming for.

Neo, Cardano, EOS. Here are your coins for long-term retention. These projects claim a capitalization of one trillion, the question is which of these three will be able to achieve this.

If you are targeting a purchase for a long-term investment, you need to pay attention to investments in ETH and NEO. They have quite good potential for further development, an excellent team of developers and a useful technology. Also part of the funds will be distributed to tron and Ripple.

I think the most promising are the IOS and ETH. I also like Neo. You are very suitable for the long term.

Long-term investments should be considered, look at the concept of the coin, the number of coins issued, and the daily volume-how liquid the coin is, and you can make a decision! it is better to pay attention to the top 20.
