I was wondering why ETC was going up so much today, but it will indeed have something to do with the Callisto airdrop.

This post is a very good example of someone who, A) really did not do what he claimed to do, B) some who regretted what he did and is now appealing the rest do the same, C) reckons he can make the price go down so he can buy more hehehe.

Sorry, but if you learned from 2 of NXT's ICO by proxy, you would learn that 10x can easily happen with ETC.

That's the cycle of a trader as I am now. #C is not correct in this case as who can dump and pump a big coin like ETC? Only whales. I myself can not even I wish I could :-)

I remember some experiments like this. for example next was really overpriced till the airdrop pretty well. So it can be a really good opportunity for etc holders. Because etc is one of the underrated altcoins waiting for a chance to go up.

Saw a few interesting TA analysis and comparisons vs. other coins before airdrops. The airdrop is still three weeks away. I guess there is still room for an easy x2 - x9. Keeping in mind the Chinese new year starting end of this week, there could be a massive growth ahead.

On top ETC is far away from being a shitcoin.

How to avoid the fear of buying some ETC to get airdrop?
this will be like ignis some other airdrop funds, everyone buys after fork the price is ruined.
can not be sure how much this airdrop price...

Also, you need to take in account that if the price of Bitcoin drop, ETC price may also drop. Airdrop or no airdrop it may also drop if Bitcoin fall lower. But if Bitcoin stay at his current level or increase in value, ETC value may also increase. It is like playing poker if you buy it at the current price level.

I think those exchanges that will list Callisto will do everything automatically, i think however ill just move the ETC to a paper wallet.

I imagine that you just need to be in control of your private key at the time of the forking block

I am expecting a huge run from Etc up to its previous all time high levels in bitcoin, it may even pass over that level of 800k satoshis. My reasons are:
1- huge fomo of callisto airdrop. it may be similar to nxt airdrop of ignis
2- chart looks great. it did not rise like its competitors ethereum and neo in the last month, it is already making a saucer formation

etc is a strong and reliable coin.
we have seen coins like nxt airdrops which caused a disaster just afterward.
Actually, nxt is also a good coin but not so strong like etc.
I am curious what will happen to etc after the airdrop. I am not sure if there will be a dump or not.

this airdrop is really risky even for a coin like etc.
All coins crashed so hard after the airdrops...
I think most of the etc holders will panic and sell this valuable coin which will cause a soft crash...
I still don't know what I'll do with my etc s...
If the price 4x or 5x more just before the airdrop, I think I will sell without claiming Callisto.
But if the price increases steady and slow, I won't sell them...
