In my opinion it will take a lot to dethrown Bitcoin. Even if Bitcoin doesn't have the market cap it will still be the one that's talked about.
I dissagree,  as you see the bitcoin is falling and soon ETH will be the number one on coinmarketcap, it mean that trands has changed.

Yes the trend has change but looking forward to the news circulating online, some governments will adopt bitcoin has a commodity nor currency and they are very serious on studying the blockchain. Bitcoin will have an impact if countries will create their token.

Guys, I think in future bitcoin will fell down and Instead of old blockchain technologies will come new and more large-scale projects. Bitcoin It is just the beginning.

hmmm... good observations. while i agree on some of your points, i really do not think that bitcoin(s) will really fall down or be knocked out cold. reason why i say this is because i know how popular bitcoin is. and when i say that the majority here in the crypto world has been drawn in because of bitcoin, i can pretty assure you that a lot will really agree with me. yes, some greater technologies may come but i really think bitcoin(s) will still beat them probably still due to it's popularity. which is why i think it will still remain as the king of cryptos for a very long period of time. that is pretty much what i think.

There might be a thousand coin and more thousands to come in the future, but who cares, bitcoin is a niche and it is very difficult to come up with something new much better than what it is now, with a few upgrades the issues we are facing will be sorted out and so there is no point in looking for the next big thing better than bitcoin.

I doubt it will. The starting year always brings the price down by 50%. Trends from the past three years suggest so. It will go back up in the future. For many investors it is a good sign as they buy low and sell high.

The blockchain technology is still new and it will accompany us for many years.
If something else would be invented, it would take years to bring it to the level of public notification the blockchain has generated.

What the future brings for bitcoin in particular, I can not say. The problem is the change from currency to asset. When somebody wants to get a coin for making online purchases he will not choose bitcoin anymore. And most altcoins are at exchanges now available for fiat directly. How this will turn out, we will have to wait and see.

Altcoins will definitely grow and comprise a major part of crypto whereas btc will still remain as the most valuable crypto regardless of its then market price. Btc has held it's value for a very long period of time and there might be no such altcoin that can hold up if there is no demand.

I really don't think so, that's why we have developers who are always updating the bitcoin core so that Bitcoin is kept abreast with the current technologies that keeps coming.

i really disagree of what you are saying, i believe that future of bitcoin will last longer, even though, there are some countries trying to halt or regulate of its existence but because of the overwhelming support from people behind it,they come up solution to create guidelines that both crypto parties and government can benefits each other. Being top of all crypto currencies give us   strong statement that the legacy of bitcoin is not easy to break because it is not just any online transactions but rather it gives fortune for those least fortunate people

I don't want to contradict with what you foresee about bitcoin and maybe all the digital currencies as well, but I want to encourage you the act of thinking positive. Sir, just be optimistic, bitcoin developers will do their best to invest from us as well as we will benefit from them.

Think when Bitcoin was in cents now in thousand dollars so why people always think negative about Bitcoin? Bitcoin will remain in top for long time and no doubt Ethereum is in strong position but great surges still ahead for Bitcoin and all crypto currencies, So be patient and wait for good moments.

Predicting bitcoin could really use a lot of time. Not just about the prediction but about how someone could tend to overthink it. Instead looking forward, from how negative people could think. Well I guess it would be so much better to think how could. Jow much more ti some large countries.

I don't think so. Bitcoin price is dropping but it is now slowly stabilizing. This bearish event also happened from the previous years of the same month. History is just repeating itself. Some altcoins might be successful in the future but it will never replace Bitcoin.

The ups and downs of the Bitcoin exchange rate are determined by demand and supply. And until 2013 to 2016, Bitcoin exchange rates almost never dropped dramatically or rose significantly

The advent of blocking technology marked a new era in the field of information security. This direction will develop further, but bitkoyn does not necessarily suffer the same fate. Forecasting is a thankless task, especially in matters with such a changeable environment. Therefore, one should hope for one of the favorable outcomes, since the opinion of the society is taken into account in many countries of the world.

bitcoin, or some future evolution of it will be around for many years to come,
And blockchain technology could be/is probably imbedded in the fabric of the universe itself.
It’s all fractional and holographic in nature baby, the blockchain is just a simplified human implementation of reality.

I think that Bitcoin became too popular last year(s) but it was not that prepared for such popularity. It was a huge wave of newcomers unaware of what Blockchain/Bitcoin nor the risk involved in, totally new to trading or investing just thinking for the possibility for quick big profit.
This huge wave of new transactions made the whole system slow and expensive, but people did't stop investing even when price reached and broke 16-17K$ hoping for quick reward. Then everything started falling, people stated loosing money and the panic-sellers were everywhere. Came the correction, bad news of "banning cryptos" in Asia helped for the second correction and then came the bear market, now it went under 10K$.
Nothing unexpected for the people who are aware of what is going on in the market.
Maybe the Lightning Network will help but I'm with mixed feelings about it.
Let's see what happens.
