Myetherwallet does not safe password or your private key. Myetherwallet help you to interface with ethereum blockchain without holding any of your ether or token on it's server. If you can not access your account, you might as well say goodbye to your fund!

I forgot my MyEtherWallet password. I don't see "forgot password" in MyEtherWallet website. Is this means that I can't change my password anymore? Anyone have suggestions about this matter? Kindly share it to me please. Thanks!
What do you mean? Is that keystore/JSON file password? If it is, you can still access your wallet by clicking import private key, Find your json file and click it there's private key inside to your json file then copy the private key and paste it to the myetherwallet. |

I think it is not a password! it is your private keys that you forgot and that's the worse thing that happen to you because eth private keys it can't be retrievable.

Being engaged into crypto investment, we should always put in mind that everything we do is very crucial since we know that crypto investment is very risky. If we add it with our carelessness, then we are just making it more risky. I don't really know if there is a way of retrieving it other than your UTC backup. I just hope that your wallet has no assets in there.

Forgot? What do you mean? You have to access it using your private key. If you do not have your private key, then say bye bye to your precious funds. They are all gone. No one in this world can get you those coins back. Should have been careful with your private key. you should know how critical it is.

Private password MyEtherWallet must be carefully stored in several storage locations. This may be a portable flash drive, print the password on paper. The main thing is not to store the password in the computer on which you work.

Unfortunately, if you forget the private key you will not get into your wallet. Check carefully, maybe you have a file in which\mu you can go in a purse .

do you mean myetherwallet's private key? and it is impossible for you to memorize your private key, because the private key is a combination of very long numbers and letters, if you forget to copy and paste your private key, try searching the Keystore / JSON file on your laptop

Password doesn't matter for access Myetherwallet. You can access more two ways JSON file and others way is Private key. Please check your storage and find out one of these (JSON file/private key). If you able to find that, then possible to access your wallet. Otherwise it is not possible to recover your myetherwallet. Always keep safe every important things in safe place. |

If you mean password for login then you will need to consider contacting you’re service provider if there is no option for resetting your password. But if what you’re referring to is private keys, then there is no need to bother, cause once you lose a private key it’s gone and there is no way you can retrieve that back. But as for password, you can be able to reset your password once you forget it. |

Hello and this is really baf for you. When you open yor MeEtherWallet there was writen that you shouldnt forget your password because you cannot recover it. So now yiu have time to remember it. Good Luck with it. |

Maybe what OP means is private key, because some wallet site need password to access like blockchain or coinbase, maybe this is first time for OP to access myetherwallet. just hope he is not lost his private keys because he not respond people anymore. |

Sorry, but there is no way you can retrieve a MEW private key, since it is generated randomly for your safety it cannot be retrieved, since the website itself does not also lnow the private key that was given to you, It must be secured and remembered, they always give you the option to copy nd paste it on somewhere safe, and since you forgot yours there is NO WAY you can retrieve it, learn from it, my friend, goodluck.

It's ok if you forget your password as long as you have saved your private key. Based on my experience, password is not that useful because I was always using the private key when logging in my accounts. |
