Nothing changes. Only 2 peers. Maybe I should make a backup of my wallet. How to do it right?

I can't help any better than those guides. There are so many different routers. As for the backup, you can just copy the wallet.dat file somewhere safe.

Since you're already staking, you can let it stake and see how often you get it averagely. Mine would be a guess based on other balances previously, not fully up to date. And that guess would be once per 3 hours and 15 minutes or such with that example balance.

I've tried Map port using UPnP,  follow the guide at: https://bitcoin.org/en/full-node#enabling-connections - the steps are exactly the same for Bitcoin 2. but I only get 5 connections at any given time. I've also cleared the peers file in roaming but still only get 5 peers. Could it be the hardware of the pc? Is there anything else to try?

2) You wallet should have 100 UTXOs (unspent transaction outputs, AKA unspent incoming transactions) or more.  This is because every time you stake or send an amount, that amount cannot be staked or spent for 101 blocks, while it is maturing (being staked). You can see the number of UTXOs that you have in the Coin Control dialog. Doesn't matter how many addresses or wallets they are split into. One single address can hold these 100 UTXOs.
if your balance is lower than 500 BTC2, You can get a close enough result without that much effort by splitting your balance into stacks of 5 - 50 BTC2. For example 150 BTC2 can just be split into 5 pieces and you'd be unlikely to notice the difference in efficiency of that versus splitting it in 100 parts. You can do the splitting by sending BTC2 to yourself.

If the map port using UPnP doesn't work, try to configure the router according to the instructions. Even that does not work with every ISP in the world.

I don't recommend restoring a backup unless there is something wrong with your current wallet.dat file. BTC2 exists in the blockchain so even if you restored it successfully, they would still be split into those addresses. Best to just send your balance back to that address with just one transaction if you want to consolidate it again.

Thanks Hiromono, I somehow overlooked his answer. Looks like I misunderstood this point.
Now I only have the router/NAT problems to solve as I only have 4 connections. I will look into it later.

Does it depend on the amount of peers staking speed?

Staking speed does not directly depend on that but you'll be better synced with the network and thus less likely to create orphaned blocks if you're connected to most of the peers.

A new DNS seeder that we are creating might help with peer discovery, especially for those of you who can't configure the port forwarding, virtual server or DMZ on your router.
