It is the alternative way that we can help other newbie investors that they did not having a panic selling when time comes all crypto currencies are in dip or decreasing price in the market. However, if we all say that hold our remaining balance in crypto's coins it is a big help not to quit in holding. Because mostly investors when the price was down they have a big lose from their investment so we have nothing to do just hold and hold until your profit was there.
For me, another reason for holding now is because it is the best and the smartest thing for us to do. As you can see, the market does not look good for selling at this time because of FUDs and other issues affecting the price of bitcoin. If one is going to sell now I am sure that it will be a big loss after bitcoin recovers. This year, bitcoin did not have a good start but just like other people I am hoping that by by next month or before mid-year the price will climb up.

BIG WINNER!

IMO, only HODL on to promising coins with an active GitHub and/or other developments + if their MCAP is greater than ~20Mil USD.
Anything below that is too high a risk to HODL in my opinion.

good things to consider but during the times when there is a price drop in bitcoin which is then causes the market wide dump it is not such a wise choice to keep on holding altcoins that are dropping so fast and hard. there are altcoins with big market cap that lost 70-80% of their value and they won't recover from this big dump for months until their next pump starts.

I really must be missing something since i am crypto noob orelse i cannot explain why everyone suggest hold while i fear that real pros are doing the oppossite.

I would like to ask only experienced people who know what they are talking about to give their opinions cause i am fed up reading pseudo crypto pros everywhere around. I bet many of you understand what i mean. Everybody has become a crypto pro . Well i am a crypto noob and i need your heads up.

Thank you for your time reading this and excuse my lame English.

Regards.

Because some of the people say it so that the person hear him will possibly hold and by holding it can make the coin pump. And also some people says it so that they will not feel left behind for the people who sells it by the time dump is slowly coming.

New listed ico's will lead the way while you hold some promising altcoins. In that matter i think its not because some of the biggest dump in the marketcap is fast recovering that is only for the coins which is most likely high volume before and high volatility.

To hold is the best side in the promising altcoins no matter what it will recover and would give you a precious profits. No matter how many times it dumps the sure thing is a good choice to hold.

Most of them suggested to hold our coins because they know that there is a big chance that the coins that are dropping will going to recover. That is my own idea why some of them suggested us to hold. Even me i will advise also to keep the coin and never sell it until desired price will come.

I think it's wise to listen to advice of experienced users.
If you are planing to stay with Bitcoin on long term, then hold. If your goal is only short term profit maybe some other coins would be better choice for you. You have to decide on your own what is your strategy and the final goal. Then you will also now what to do.

It's the easiest and most effective way to earn money. of course like today you loss because btc is low but if you just hodl it you can profit significantly. but that's long term.
I think it is because bitcoin price was dump that's why people are suggesting to hold your bitcoin ,also they suggest for you to earn money and this is the best way for you to be able to earn a lot of money ,this gonna be the wises thing that you can do if you really want to earn .

Almost suggest to hold because bitcoin price goes up and down. Many traders are holding their bitcoin or their coins to wait the right time when to sell their holdings. Once they see that they have big profit that is the time for them to sell.

Almost everyone is suggesting to hold your bitcoin because all those people who have bought bitcoin from above the present price then if they sell their bitcoin then they can face a loss while also we know that this price is very low as compare to past price because everyone know that bitcoin have minimum potential 19k$+ and maximum potential will  don't known by any one.

All advise to keep, because it is very difficult to determine the entry and exit points for bitcoins. All events on the market occur every time in a new scenario. Therefore, it is easier not to sell bitcoin, but wait for the price to rise (especially if bitcoin is purchased at $ 16,000 - $ 19,000).

It is because holding botha is a practical and a strategic way to earn from bitcoin. Nothing will happen if we always panic. It is the most effective way in trading.also since it is suggested, that means that the suggestion is based on experience that's why it is guaranteed.

Investors who have the patience and ability to hold longterm often reap the best rewards. We had some big FUD and bad news some months back about China apparently banning BTC, it created some turbulence in the markets for a while, then as more fresh blood came into the markets and people got over all the negativity and forgot, markets began to rally again like nothing bad even happened and now we are about to continue rallying again.

Weak hands will be shaken out, and those that are able to remain strong during times of bad news will come out winners again. Just like every other financial market  Cheesy

What else can they suggest?

This is the most efficient way of not losing money during market problems are taking place. If you sell with panic, you will lose too much.

it is easy to know that when the price become much lower than the days before that eventually we can not make the decisions to sell to cut loss, so the only option at that times  is holding for a little alonger to see to price get higher in the future. they are being effected badly at the lowest price on the market so investors don't want to keep investing in somethings that has low potential to rise in the future.

Most of us bought their cryptocurrencies at the top. Of course, they didn't want to loss money, so they have only one way - hold.

How are they going to have some coin? Does not make any sense if this is the reason for holding bitcoin
In my point of view any of them holding it because most of them believe that bitcoin is going to raise but if there is no one buying how is the price will gain more value?

While bitcoin is a new and exciting technology when it comes to investing bitcoin is like any other currency or asset, and it has been proven over and over again the superiority of holding over long periods of time over trading actively your portfolio, in fact the fastest you trade your portfolio the bigger the losses, that is why holding is the preferred strategy for those that have experience with bitcoin.

IMO I think people keep holding might be it's the best choice when all the market is going down like crazy at the moment. Otherwise maybe they couldn't cut the loss before the dump started or they chose the wrong coin to hide before the dump and holding is the only way they can do cause they don't wanna lose their money Smiley

In my own perspective, they keep on holding bitcoin because of the low value of it in the market. And you will just encounter loss if ever you sell itbin the current price. Because they have their faith that bitcoin will recover and get back to the track of its previous price. They are just keeping their support in bitcoin , they know that whenever they will sell their coin it will really hurt thr value and becomes more lower.

Most of the crypto pro is recommend for those new in bitcoin investment is to hold when it's dip because they experience many times from the previous  years that bitcoin will rise after the hard fork and  it's much getting higher in value, so if we have enough patience to hold well, we have a better future await in the future  come of bitcoin and possibly become one of those who get rich because of bitcoin.
