Danny, I didn't post before now because I figured you had more important things to do than check the thread.

What you have done for your company and Bitcoin is inspirational. We will see others take up the flame, apply their own spin, yet no one can deny 2014 is when it all kicked off. In Cyprus!

Well done!  Smiley

Hi Danny,

There's been talk recently about the core devs becoming slightly overwhelmed, and the need for developers from Bitcoin firms to contribute back into the core code. Is there a possibility that Neo & Bee will use some funds to hire additional developers who can then help the core devs?

Amen! I really want to see Neo be industry leaders in this regard. They need to be the antithesis of Gox

Not a fan of Gox but I find all this Gox community bashing pretty disgusting to be honest. This exchange endured many ups and downs while community was getting fucked in the ass by lots of exchange scams.

Hadn't been for regulators ripping them off, confiscating their money they might not be in this mess they're in now. Keep in mind that after they've revealed the latest problems Bitstamp also noticed they were having exact same problem. Kraken also suspended US withdrawals as they were starting to face same withdrawal problem Gox had.

It's pretty ugly to see so much kicking of someone who's down because who knows what big company might be next casualty. Just because you're riding on a high horse today doesn't mean you won't get shot down tomorrow.

Looks like we are on track to hit .01 share price, maybe after the merchant announcement.

jeez, I was wondering when someone was going to make this prediction.  I'm waiting for 1 btc share price.

You mean when the company becomes worth more than every bitcoin in circulation?
yep, exactly

while i share your sentiment somewhat (i think its obvious that Mark is under a gag order and has been for some time), im afraid you wont find much sympathy in this or many other threads here at the moment. this is still quite fresh for some.

Excited to see the videos.. also excited to hear that merchants were so impressed with the presentation they immediately adopted! the brand recognition from the associate companies can only be positive for the price.

Yeah. If this IRC chatlog is to be believed (I can't vouch for its authenticity), I think Mark revealed he's under a gag order, using somewhat coded language.

[12:07] <MagicalTux> maybe I should go to sleep now
[12:07] <JonWickedFire> Anything else you'd like to say to everyone before all the pissed off people start going nuts, even more...?
[12:09] <MagicalTux> not really

[12:09] <MagicalTux> well, we'll see how this one goes anyway
[12:16] <JonWickedFire> Well, I'd like to chat more, but I know you're pushing to go to sleep.

Apologies for the delay in getting the videos online, I will do it first thing in the morning when I get to the office. The second merchant conference went great, it is true that education is key, once people obtain an understanding from somewhere other than the media, perceptions change. We had several merchants take a decision right there and then to accept Bitcoin payments with Bee.

I will provide a full update tomorrow which I will pass to TAT for publishing. It has been a busy few months and now the adrenaline is wearing thin, I need to get more than 4 hours sleep tonight.

Again thanks for the support!

I think one thing that should help a lot,  is giving away some millibit to each partecipant/ merchant  interested,  so they can first experience in first person bitcoin the tecnology

+1 I think this could be a great idea

To all the Neo team, congratulations for all the work you are doing! If you continue like this, nothing can stop you. (It worries me though the regulations coming from Cyprus or European government)

I was in a remote place on Monday and I could not connect to the internet until next day. I was very excited to read all this great news.

Regarding the ATMs, when will the first come out?

All the best, and again, thanks for the example you are setting for the Bitcoin community.

Central Bank of Cyprus says Bitcoin is not illegal
http://cyprus-mail.com/2014/02/26/central-bank-says-bitcoin-is-not-illegal/

Excuse me.

This guy, the former vice-chairman of Bank of Cyprus Evdokimos Xenofontos is one of the MAIN persons responsible for the COLLAPSE of the Cypriot banks, the state, and the robbery of people's deposits and life time savings from their bank accounts in HIS bank, Bank of Cyprus as well as in Laiki Bank.

He flew out of Bank of Cyprus, pocketing millions in golden parachutes, leaving behind a bankrupt bank that robbed people's deposits and he has been hiding for months now.

He should have been in jail and instead he dares to come out to the day light and make comments about Bitcoin and Neo & Bee?

I hope the Attorney General of Cyprus includes this guy in his list of persons to be prosecuted CRIMINALLY for the biggest robbery of mankind that ever happened, here in Cyprus in March 2013.

He should be jailed and his family's wealth confiscated.

YOU SHOULD BE IN JAIL EVDOKIME XENOFONTOS.

SHAME ON YOU!

Its central bank ... great news ... but lets wait for government stance in this. IIRC we still don't have regulation about Bitcoin in place on Cyprus.

So I wake up and Havelock is down ... great ... "Database seems down. Sorry about that. We've been notified about the problem. Please try again later."

The big question is, can Cyprus regulate BTC by itself or must it wait for the (huge, inefficient, slow and usually Illiterate) European regulatory body do so first?

I remember Danny said the btc price will be affected by Neo purchases in the market, do you think the quick increase in just few hours is related (despite negative Gox news)? Would that mean the amount of Neo costumers euros into btc is considerable?

I am also interested to find out whats going there! Even for the wort case scenario (Havelock vanishing), given the way Danny and TAT went through the bitFunder issue (and the availability of the direct share option) I think we should be ok, worried but ok Smiley.

no, I don't think that this is the issue, market is happy that Mt.Cox's is finally offline. No chance for arbitrage to pushing the price down. The scenario about Mt.Cox insolvency is already included in price. I hope they will stay offline "for time being" like incompetent Mark like to say. Finally. But its a NEOBEE thread so ... sure, NEO will have an impact on BTC demand, but its just very early to say now. After 2 days you know. Also its in NEO interest to see price of BTC grow.

Yes, too early perhaps

Yes, but not at the beginning when Neo gets the btcs. Anyway, good news the price did not went too too low with Gox news. If you think it is because people already left Gox behind, better. Although I doubt this is the reason. Let's see.
